Raven hosts this popular small business home radio show www.CareersFromTheKitchenTable.com, that targets men and women who are looking to spend more time at home with their children, perhaps have lost their job or forced into early retirement and are looking for ways to create a consistent income.

Right from the start of the interview, we dive right in and talk about steps to take to alter how we think about money. The first step being awareness...becoming aware of your real thoughts about money and the power you give to money. Here is an example:

Problem/Misconception: Thinking money is the answer to everything
Reality: Money is only paper and coin and you simply use it as a tool
Result of embracing the reality: All of the charge and the desperation are taken off of money and the energy then can flow smoothly.

Consider that you don't really want money. Consider that you want what money will bring to you.

We also touch on the importance of goal setting. I say, know what your life mission is and pursue it, then set a goal that you know you can achieve in a measurable way. Having an inspired goal is necessary so as to align our mind and body and it also tells the Universe what we want.

We have a choice in this life to struggle or to flow. I have found the escalator through life and I am trying to point to where it is to help as many people as I can.

Dr. Tranquility Instant Manifestation Interview

In this interview, I spend a bit over an hour chatting with Dr. Tranquility - Lydia Belton. She is a mental health expert with a background in Psychology, Relaxation Physiology for Mind-Body Medicine from Harvard University's Mind- Body Institute, and Columbia University's Rosenthal Center in Botanical Medicine. Through the platforms of her fm radio show, and through her other platform B WELL TV, her production company, and of course her popular wellness website, she has helped thousands of people in mind, body and spirit.

During this hour talk, we touch on Law of Attraction in general, what works, what doesn’t and I even share an LOA shortcut to use right away! And of course we talk about my new book Instant Manifestation, which is a guide for those who have struggled with manifesting their desires and are looking for answers to the question: “Why isn’t The Law of Attraction working for me”?

We also talk about music and instruments, more specifically those on my very first album Blue Healer. I tell her about the unusual and very rare instrument I played called a Gibson Harp Guitar. During the interview she makes good on her promise to play excerpts of the songs from the album to give you a taste of what the album is like. Blue Healer is what is called a ‘fusion genre’; it is a combination of ancient chants, blues, new age, and trance music and is all original material by me.

My 30 Year Overnight Success Story

Today I participated in an "off the cuff" interview with Lisa Robbin Young. Her questions were insightful and right in line for the theme of her guest post series "Be Your Own Guru," which you can find at www.businessactionhero.com. Her focus with this series is to help people overcome excuses -- and define their own success by breaking through barriers.

We start off by discussing my "overnight success," if you consider overnight to be 30 years! I delve into what it was like to go from being homeless, in Dallas, to living over a decade in poverty, in Houston, to finally rising up from those hard times to the dream life I am now living of magic and miracles!

I share that my rise to success had no lucky breaks but instead was laced with rejection, rejection-recovery, self-reflection, pain, and non-stop persistence. Being a writer, you are bound to face rejection from publishers. Well, I used to take those publisher rejections very, very personally. I was so attached to my books being "me" that when they were rejected, I translated that it was me that was being rejected.

Be that as it were, I kept persevering and after much trying and recovering over and over again, I would eventually get an item published here and there until the tides finally did shift...as I consistently shifted myself. My awakening process was not easy...not easy at all.

Even today as I dare something worthy, I run into issues of belief, self-esteem, worthiness and self-doubt. So I am still working on myself today, facing some of the same limitations, just at different levels and in different areas of my life.

In this revealing interview, we go quite in depth of my trials, tribulations, lessons, successes, tips, insights, revelations and real life examples of what worked for me -- to go from my lowest of lows to the high life of magic and miracles I experience everyday!

In short:
The key is to persevere, keep moving forward, take inspired action, and then surrender any expected outcome and all the while, allow your passion to illuminate the way!

Ho'oponopono.
Ho'o...what?
Ho'oponopono, it means "to make right" and it is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation, forgiveness and ultimately, it heals.

I am thrilled to be interviewed on this topic! I love talking about Ho'oponopono. It is truly miraculous. You can literally attain peace, happiness, health and wealth just by using 4 simple phrases.

In this podcast, I explain how to clear your mind of subconscious blocks that are preventing you from living an inspired life. For years, I have frequently reminded people of the fact that it is our sub-conscious mind that ultimately dictates how we co-create life; "cleaning" with Ho'oponopono is a miraculous path to get your sub-conscious in alignment with Divinity to allow inspiration to flow to and through you.

Joe on "Going from losing it all to having it all" with Asara Lovejoy

This interview with Asara Lovejoy is about my transformation of consciousness from where I was, to where I wanted to go, to the place I am now. I recount my own pivotal points on my personal journey, from having lost it all to now feeling like I have it all...more than I ever imagined even!

On the call, I point out that the FIRST thing I had to do was alter how I was thinking. It was quite a process to overcome for me. You see, I was in an extremely sad, scarcity driven, victim mindset and at points, I was even suicidal. I felt like it was "me against the Universe." That type of predominant thinking is what kept me stuck for over 10 years.

Everybody here on earth has essentially the same experience in regards to, what we think about tends to come about. It is really, really, really important to think UP. When we think UP, our emotions are UP and our emotions are the accelerator to the manifestation in the physical realm. When I began shifting my thoughts, my emotions shifted, thus my experiences shifted...for the BETTER.

Another HUGE key I talk about is to give without expectation.

Many people seem to be resistant to this... and I can relate. Back then, I used to think, "I am on to your scheme! You just want me to give you money to get you richer! Well I'm not going to do it!" And that level of thinking certainly kept me broke. So, eventually I relented and thought, "Okay, let me just try it, I'll give a nickel." And just with that tiny experiment, I actually started to see it coming back. It is truly miraculous how this all works.

And of course I talk about the importance of listening to those inner nudges! Back then, I would get the inner nudge to do something but I would ignore it. I didn't trust those nudges because they didn't align with logic. Eventually though, I did begin listening to them, though it was certainly more like me going "kicking and screaming" to "trusting in the unseen" side of life. What I noticed when I would listen to the nudges and act on them, is that shifts would occur and the more I listened, the happier and healthier I felt and the easier my life would get.
