The CBS Early Show just aired a special on The Secret. My bud and costar James Ray went head to head with a skeptic. I liked that James said you can't just wish for results. You have to take action too. I also love that the inspiring messages in The Secret are getting such worldwide coverage. It doesn't hurt that I was on the CBS show this morning too.

Hey Joe!
I think that is great that you two were on the CBS Early Show.
James did an excellent job recently on NBC refuting a critic’s claims. Here is a video of it for anyone who missed it:

Here is the Oprah After-Show for anyone who was not able to see that:

It is the 3rd video down.
I will post a link for the CBS Early Show once it becomes available.

I like what James had to say, but I think he could have done a slightly better job. He did well in mentioning the cases where the power of thought was used to turn people’s lives around, but I think he should have also mentioned that nowhere in “The Secret” does it discourage getting proper medical care if you suffer from a serious condition or anything of the like. In fact, John Demartini said himself that every form of healing has a place, and when you’re starting with this you should continue to use conventional medicine while you explore what the mind has to offer. I feel this is key, and it’s one of the most important yet overlooked aspects of the film.
Miracles are not only possible, they can be made conscious, everyday experiences. But for most people it’s not going to start that way. They should open up little by little so as not to put too much pressure on themselves and thus land them in dangerous situations. A balance needs to be struck so faith can be built with minimal risk of harm. If it comes time to stop taking the medications or to forfeit one form of healing for one that’s far more powerful, the individual will know. It is something personal and the timing will be different for each and every one of us.
Before miracles can happen we have to meet ourselves where we are without judgment or guilt and gently push ourselves forward.
