You’ll note that as of today there is a “Digg It” link to the right of every blog post here.

If you really like a post, please click there. Your vote will help others realize this is a post worth looking into.

It might be something you want to add to your own articles and posts, as well. Google seems to like posts with high Digg It ratings.

Seth Godin was the first to tell me about Digg It long ago. I should have listened back then. Any time Seth Godin says something, take note. He’s brilliant.

I didn’t take action until Pat O’Bryan told me once he added Digg It to his blog, his site went higher on Google.

Live and learn.

Hint: Now is a good time to take action.

    Hi Joe

Digg is one of many Social Bookmarking sites. There are 2 kinds of Bookmarking sites. Sites like Digg, users submit stories and people vote on whether or not they like them. The more votes a site receives the more prominent it is on the site. With sites like Del.icio.us, the more users that have a site bookmarked; the more popular it is. Either way, users are rating the content. An excellent resource is http://trcoach.authoritysiteprofits.com Yes this is an affiliate site, however just going through the Authority Site Black Book(which is free) will give you a lot of really useful recommendations to increase traffic to your blog.
    Thanks, Tom (TRCoach)

Well I just hit and I try to every morning but I forget now I know to hit each time I open your blog. I wanted to let you know that both mom 74 and I listen to Zero limit on audio this weekend and she love it and had been cleaning before she ever heard Zero limit she then gave me a piece of paper to explain and pronouce Ho’oponopono and what it meant she even want to try the new margarita mix not sure what it called but one day I had look it up and I was so happy they were using Stevia that is all I use and wish that they would use stevia on soft drinks, teas etc. I will spend Labor day weekend in Lakeway and hope to pick up packets for Ciola’s, Nat’s pub, Johnny Finns and Mulligans several of my friends in Lakeway. Thank you Joe for everything.
    Ilove you and Thank You,

Eunice, you need to have a user account at Digg.com in order to vote on stories (it’s free).

There are many good social bookmarking and social news sites, but Digg is by far the biggest. One thing to be aware of is that the top Digg stories tend to be more technical in nature. Another good bookmarking service (and one that seems to feature a wider variety of stories) is Reddit.com.

If you’re using the WordPress blogging system (as Joe is) look for a plugin called Gregarious. You can use it to automatically add links to a large number of similar social bookmarking sites to each of your blog posts.

When “Digging” don’t forget to comment , Digg Others comments and Add Friends also ! There isn’t an exact amount but posts with as few diggs as 50 have landed on the DIGG Front page which = HUGE Traffic ! (shut down your server type traffic) =) Another thing that helps is to make sure you select the right category if you are the one Digging the story First!

Hmmm. The very same thing happened to me yesterday when I took my new SLK 280 out for a spin. In the sunshine with the roof down, I had a thought of disbelief – had I really created all this? In the last 4 years, I had turned everything around. Did I deserve it? At that moment, I attracted an enraged driver of a small Merc Smart who could not get past me, and with teeth gritted he tried to squeeze round me as I stood stationary in shock waiting for the ram. Something hit and scraped, and then he changed his mind.

He backed up (he had to, he could not get past me!). When I checked the car, somehow mine had been untouched.

It was a reminder to appreciate EVERYTHING positive we create in our lives, even if we can’t believe we did it, and are still in shock. Start believing and thanking, thanking, thanking.

    Namaste
