    Hey Joe,

First off really enjoyed the video above, it was fascinating, there is so much that comes from the east that us westerners are now applying… its almost like they are years ahead of us in knowing what works..

Joe, just wanted to be clear on a reply you gave to a question I had in a previous post below about which one of your products discusses your approach to writing books.

    You said

” Jon, I’ve already done this. Been selling it for years. But the basic formula is easy: create an offer few can refuse and ask other list owners to support you in the campiagn. ”

Which product of yours though goes into the actual guts, meat and potatoes process you go through with writing books? I know you have one on writing ebooks with Jim edwards is this the one your referring too, do you take the same approach to book writing as you do to ebooks writing?

I have Outrageous Marketing and you touch on it a little bit in the white book that comes inside there but I was hoping to learn more about how you specifically go about taking the initial idea all the way through to book available for sale

    So covering things like

    1. How you go about research for a book idea
    2. organizing your thoughts, using audio recording or just typing
    3. At what point do you work out chapters?, how do you arrange them, determine what will go in which ones
    4. Do you write, record yourself speaking or type out your books?
    5. How many drafts do you go through?
    6. How often do you write, in blocks every day? do you have strict timelines, a deadline that you set
    7. At what point do you go into the editing phase?, who does your editing? who do you recommend for editing?
    8. options for first time writers on seeking out a publisher or publishing themselves
    9. How to come up with a design for a book, or who to use for book design
    10. Who determines how many copies to run off initially?
    11. How to get it included into Amazon, barnes and noble
    12. How to establish relationships with others to promote it?
    13. When to create an audio version of the book, how to get it into places like audible, other places
    14. Your thoughts on self publishing and the options people have.

Sure there are others out there that probably could provide this information, but since you kick out books like butter, and ones that actually sell, who better to learn from 🙂

Now if you have a product thats out there that covers all of that.. point me to it and Ill buy it

    Blessings

    Jon
P.S just got finished listening to The Key on audio, and have to say its probably one of your best products so far, it was great to glean from the variety of different people that you pulled in to contribute.

Thanks for sharing this video, Dr. Vitale. I have been curious about Fung Shui, and getting to see your inner sanctum was a real treat!

    Thanks again,

Thanks for allowing me to learn along with you, paisan! It was my first time to actually see how a feng shui makeover happens; choosing your home office was so relevant for me.
Give us an update on the effects you notice after a month or two in your fs’d office, OK? 😉

    Dear Joe,

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Living in Japan, I’m slightly familiar with Japanese schools of Feng Shui, and also great results at a time when we needed it from flying star feng shui – but Leigh Kubin’s BTB school seems fun, practical to implement, and effective.

It was also neat that she picked up on your posting an old goal that was interfering with a new goal. Whether you believe in feng shui or not – that communication with the inner mind is so important. Since you are alread a great master of attraction, it was helpful to learn that even you can benefit at times from the help of another pair of eyes.

Another thing that fascinated me was in the fame/reputation space of my own office about 2-3 years ago I hung a favorite poster of a flute because that was the only place for it. At the time I was not able to play flute for 12 years because of an injury, but I loved the poster too much to get rid of it. September 2007 I realized I could play again, and things have been moving very fast since then. In December of 2007, my dream flute found me. It was a special order instrument that isn’t usually offered, and it takes two years to make. So this incredible dream instrument was being made for me before I was even able to play it! It still gives me chills to think about it, Joe! There are pics of it on my website for anyone who wants to see a magic flute 😀

I’ve signed up for your miracles consultation a week ago, Joe, and I’m looking forward to hearing from one of your people soon. I’ve also made a notation of your three goals that you shared on your video to start generating ideas. If there’s even anything I can do to be of service to you, Joe, please let me know.

Sharing this was really generous of you, Joe. Thank you again. There was a great deal of valuable information packed into that 8 minutes and I’m sure a lot of people are going to benefit! Looking forward to hearing about the changes you attract with the changes you’ve made in your office.

    Appreciatively,
    Teresa Bolen

    Dear Joe,
I was curious about your affirmation statement, where you command the universe to give you 25 million in passive income. I’ve read most of your books and don’t recall reading about “commanding” statements. If you mention it in one of your books, could you please direct me to the proper source? Thanks for all the work you do.
    Love and blessings,
    Deb

Thank you Joe for the learning experience. I too have been learning Feng Shui through the Marie Diamond course offered through Learning Strategies. Excellent Course – Marie knows her stuff. I was a little apprehensive over the price – but am glad I decided to jump in with both feet. Interesting… your consultant never had you move your chair. Instead she placed a simple mirror on your monitor so you could watch your back. Marie insists that the office is your throne – thus, your chair must be against a wall where your back is always protected. I don’t think Marie would like the mirror trick.

I see that your chair has a very high back. In Marie’s Feng Shui, this too is essential. Your home office chair is your throne and that is how Marie pictures the home office. She also states that the occupier should preferably face his/her success direction – or one of the best four directions.

After having moved my own home office around – and my bedroom to where I sleep with my head facing one of my best directions – and having activated all four directions through Marie’s suggestions, I have noticed that I think better, I have better health, I feel empowered, and most important to me – I have an inner sense of peace.

Feng Shui is a remarkable tool. Glad to see that you think so too.

    Dear Dr.Vitale

Different masters have different versions on how your office should be done using Feng Shui. I hope that this makeover will do you wonders. I wonder if you could split test this with another master? 🙂

It just occured to me to wonder why you would want to have feng shui done, considering the fact that you’re one of the gurus of using the Law of Attraction…

  8. February 5, 2008 at 7:44 am

Philip, using the law of attraction doesn’t mean you don’t DO anything. In fact, it’s the oppositie. I always do what my inspiration suggests, which one day might be feng shui.

Greetings Joe, I’m glad you are open minded to the concept of Feng Shui. I too use this inspiring and calming idea to help nurses eliminate stress from their lives. It really works!

    Hey Joe,

Great video. It’s fascinating to see your office and all the books. Am I the only one that’s trying to read the titles then going to Amazon to buy them?

    Colin

P.S. Next time I’m in Austin I’ll be asking for a tour of your office! 😉

Colin.. nah your not alone.. i have a lot of joes there good books.. just trying to find the one though that he has written which answers most of the above questions.. about his process for writing..

Hi Joe! I enjoy the video a lot, but FYI, the method she (the Feng shui consultant) has no base at all in classical feng shui. so I would suggest that you enquire real FS analysis from a master who know at least flying star feng shui, rather than this too simplistic, mechanistic and rigid one. I am a translator, speaker and workshop leader for Integral Spirituality, Sacred Space Creatition and Crystal Clear Awareness. Feng Shui is a deep subject and i would be fun if we could all lean from each other 🙂

    with blessings and love,
