Imagine: It’s Valentine’s Day and you’re all alone.
No candy. No cards. No kisses.
You’re about to raid the frig.
Or you already did.
What do you do now?
Here are some ideas:
Go buy some chocolate for yourself.
Go buy yourself a card and mail it to yourself.
Go to the mirror and kiss your reflection.
Go to itunes and find the wackiest dance music you can find and dance to it.
Go to your closest and find clothes that make you feel like a million bucks and put them on.
Go to your high school yearbook and look online for your old classmates.
Go to the zoo and make faces at all the animals.
Go get a children’s book and read it.
Go play a game of chess against yourself.
Go get a comedy CD or DVD and watch it.
Go call someone and ask if they can be your Valentine.
Go get a cat or dog or parrot and spoil them.
Go to the gym and have an intense workout.
Go play a musical instrument.
Go write a poem or song and then translate it into a language you don’t know using free online software.
Go dress up like a clown and walk the neighborhood.
Go to a senior center, hospital, or homeless shelter and focus on the well being of one person there.
Go make a list of things people can do when they are desperate and alone on Valentine’s Day, and then post it on your blog.
Finally, go to bed early, knowing that the day will be over soon and the sun will shine again.
Love awaits.
Ao Akua,
Joe

PS — While you are celebrating Valentine’s Day alone or with a partner, Nerissa and I will be attending a funeral. While the word “fun” is in the word “funeral,” it’s usually not. The reminder is to enjoy your life right now, with or without anyone else. Right now is the greatest gift of all. Your life is a blessing. Enjoy it.
I just hired long time friend Peter Wink as my company’s Vice-President of Marketing and Product Development.
To celebrate it and to introduce him to some of my business partners, I flew him to Texas and threw a party in his honor.
All the local area partners of mine came, which is a list of friends too long to post here. But here are some pictures (left click on any picture to enlarge it) for your enjoyment…
The mala beads I’m wearing here were made and given to me by Peter’s wife, Stephanie. They are designed to bring luck, love and longevity.
What almost everyone ate at the party was a Vitale Steak, which is
now on the Cedar Grove Steak House menu.
Peter met many people, including my Meet and Grow Rich coauthor Bill Hibbler: And Your Portable Empire author Pat O’Bryan:
He also met the team behind Fit-A-Rita, Jeff Sargent, Dr. Marc Gitterle and me:
And he met Jillian Coleman Wheeler, coauthor of Your Internet Cash Machine: And Subliminal Manifestation partner Mark Ryan:
Nerissa and I also took Peter and Stephanie to look at a 366 acre ranch we were considering buying. Turned out to be a fun day as Peter — being born and raised in Chicago — had never been in a pick-up truck before.
And he happened to be in the ranch’s feed truck, so he was charged by a cow while he sat inside.
Pat O’Bryan is curious. He took a video camera, placed it in a coffee shop, and talked people into sitting in front of it. His question to each was, “What is love?” He never accepted their answers. He made them squirm. I know. I was there. I was one of the victims of this “video ambush.” 🙂 See the whole thing at www.youtube.com/v/vCmFq8bxYXo or by clicking the image below:
Last night I dreamed Variety magazine published a front page news story about the success of the Expect Miracles television show. It looked a lot like this…(left click either image to enlarge it)…This is how you begin to attract miracles: Create an image to help focus your intent and burn it into your mind with love. (Note: This image is a visualization tool, not an actual printed story – not yet, anyway.)
