One of the greatest books to influence my life was The Dark Side of the Light Chasers by Debbie Ford.
Not only is the book one of my top ten picks for life changing reads, but the author later became a dear friend of mine.
I’m sad to say she passed away last night.
I am shaken by the loss, as Debbie was a mentor who I loved. She endorsed me and my books, believed in me, and was always a phone call away.
I loved her.
While Debbie is gone, her message is alive and well through her books.
One of her final wishes was to get more people to read her work, especially the book that opened my eyes so many years ago.
If you haven’t read it, or if you’d like to get copies to give as gifts, please go to — http://shar.es/YQeQB
I am posting this at the request of Debbie, and as a way to support her family (as they get the royalties from sales).
Please live your life with passion, grace and love, just as Debbie Ford did.
Ao Akua,
Joe
PS — A friend recently told me we don’t need to live forever – just long enough to complete our life mission. Debbie completed hers, knew it, and said so. I celebrate her mission successfully accomplished and I’ll always miss her, too.

I’m so sorry to hear that, Joe.
I haven’t read her books before, so after this I’m going to check out the one you just mentioned here.
I believe that our mission in this world is to serve God, and I believe that only God knows when we should come back to Him, whether our mission is accomplished or not. Nice to hear if she already did.
Hi Elsa. The books are eye-opening. Enjoy.
Joe,
I do not understand why Debbie, of all people, should die of cancer? Shouldn’t she have been able to turn around whatever programming caused her to get cancer? I’m not trying to be nasty – just genuinely trying to understand why this beautiful light had to go out so early?
Hi Dee. “Early” is a relative term. She accomplished her mission. She was complete, and said so. As a healer I know says, “At some point, you’re just going to die.” She stayed three years longer than expected, and is at peace.
I thought this also when I bought the book then learnt that Debbie had passed. In fact I found it so disturbing that I didn’t want to continue with reading the book. What if I’m to learn all that is good from Debbie then only for it to come to an abrupt end were the dominating thoughts. But as Mr Vitale has wisely said that Debbie had accomplished her mission and was complete. The key thing is that one should not be thinking about the future or living in the past, one should be living in the now. God has given me a great opportunity by directing to Debbie’s book. I need to learn those lessons now, quickly.
Wow.That is very sad. I’m really sorry to hear that. I have recently lost a couple of very close friends, too. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of them. You have my empathy and sympathy.
Thank you, Robin.
Joe, thanks for the tip. I’ve just downloaded the book via an email you sent earlier. I look forward to reading it.
Dee, I have sometimes wondered whether a long life isn’t considered hardship from a higher perspective.
Namaste
Peace for her.
Now she is The Spirit. And I believe she is The Spirit of Peace, The Spirit of happiness, The Spirit of Eternal Life.
I’m also supporting you to keep on acomplishing your life missions, with your amazing and blessed teaching. 🙂
I love you and her.
Thank you 🙂

Joe, I am so sad to hear Debbie Ford has passed. Even though she is in a better place I can feel your loss. It is hard to recognize the gift in such times. However, if you look, you will find it. I want to personally thank you for all that you do. You have touched many lives, including mine. Keep the faith sir as I know you will. Your friend ~ Jim
Thank you, James. 🙂

I have moved on to new mentors; so THANKYOU for Zero Limits products. I have the book and DVD and benefit from the DVD to this day. Quite astonishing!
