If you want money for something you believe in, I may have a way for you to get it.
This is not my service and I don’t make a dime if you use it or not. They don’t even know I’m writing this. I just feel this is too good not to share.
I’ve seen bands, artists, authors, photographers, film makers, and new businesses get the money they want this way.
I first heard about this service when a start-up company needed fifty grand to create their product. They used the service and raised 350 grand — six times more than what they asked for.
And I just saw a band I know raise over ten grand for their new recording.

You can list your project there, describe it with an engaging short video and a written overview, and offer incentives for people to invest in you. It’s a win win. I love it.
I’ve not listed any of my own projects on Kickstarter, but I’ve helped fund several people that I found there and wanted to see their ideas come into reality. All did.

I can’t guarantee your project will get funded. Not all do. But everyone I know who used Kickstarter achieved their financial goals. It’s certainly worth a look. And it’s free to list your project.
One thing to remember: You still have to tell people about your project being listed on Kickstarter. In other words, don’t list your project and sit back and wait for people to find you. You have to go tell everyone.
One band I know (Patton Sparks), successfully raised what they wanted on Kickstarter. When I asked where the traffic came from to their listing on Kickstarter’s site, they said as far as they could guess it came from them telling their family, friends, fans, Facebook, etc. Almost no one poking around Kickstarter’s site actually funded their project. As always, spreading the word about what you are doing is essential.
Again, I’m not affiliated with Kickstarter. I love their noble service and urge you to check into them. I believe they take 5% of what you raise as their payment, which means just ask for 5% more than what you need for your project. If you don’t raise your capital, you don’t pay anything.
It’s a glorious time we live in when services like this one help make dreams come true.

That is a super cool idea. I went to check it out, unfortunately it’s for U.S residents as they haven’t opened up to other countries yet, including Canada. (what???!!!) However, that gives me a great idea for a Canadian version….
Kickstarter is great, every week I scan new projects, looking for inspiring stuff. One of the best things they’ve funded (IMO) is the Window Farms project – growing your own food in your flat on the window using plastic bottles, I call it an invention!
Kickstarter is awesome! My son has raised money for a film project there. Great stuff!

You always says one thing “Dare Something Worthy”.
Actually I dare something very worthy. Vast majority of people says or think, that it is very worthy and we never going to achieve it, we only dream about it but it is immposible. because I know that they labled it. but i dared it… because I decide what I want, I believe I can have it, I believe I deserve it and their isn’t any block left. i cleared them through hooponopono or eft….now whenever I do this exercise, I actually feel happy and great. Because I know that the Universe have no limits. All the limits are in our mind. I am now in that state of thinking. So I am doing this excersise from last 8-10 days. I am doing this on daily basis. what I am doing is, I decided What I want, I believe I can have it, I believe that I deserve it and then I read the script that I wrote on the first day, and focussing on the end result and truly experience the feeling of actually having it. and then I come out of that and read my grateful for list, and genuinely feel for them… and then I release it to the Universe and trust…but one thing I want to ask you that you said on thing in the movie The Secret that, When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, when the intuitive nudge is there, Act. So I am looking for signals everytime. So my qeustion to you is am I doing right? Should I continue doing this until I get any signal or shouldn’t I do this anymore because whenever I got time I think about my goals and then I am back in the state of gratefulness and I feel so so happy. so tell me Am I doing right or is their any mistake in this process… I am ready for action. I am in the action mode right now, what to do until I don’t get any inner Idea or opportunity.

Thanks for the post. It is a problem I struggle with a lot of the time. Widowed and in my eighties I get caught in the doldrums regularly waiting for the right wind to blow.
Today’s Mass reading pointed out a very simple fact – the way ahead can only be found as we look forward. Here I am surrounded by a wonderfdul collection of memorablia which is the bane of my cleaer’s life! Several generations of fascinating stuff … but it gets in the way sometimes.
So, chaps, look forward .. it’s where the future is and let the past go.

Dear Dr. Vitale,
First of all, thank you for all of the encouraging emails and blog posts. Times have been tough for me financially, but you have helped keep my spirits up.
I love playing the ‘what if up’ game. This past summer I decided to play it. My thought was, “How cool it would be to find one of your CD sets at a yard sale.” Guess what? I found 2 at the same yard sale, The Missing Secret and The Secret to Attracting Money, each set for only $2. That was a treasure worth more than all the gold in the world. The other ‘what if up’ was “How much fun would it be to find a job as camp hosts on the beach.” That one also came true. My fiance and I moved from Missouri and are now camp hosts in Port Lavaca, TX. This has given me time to listen to your CD’s, answer the questions in the workbooks and set some goals for myself.
If it had not been for your words of encouragement I would have never started playing THE GAME. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart.
