I started this blog on November 6, 2005, four years ago today.  I did it because SEO expert Brad Fallon and I spoke on a cruise ship where he said everyone needed a blog.

I was skeptical. I thought blogs were self-indulgent wastes of time. Brad said maybe so, but the search engines liked them. I listened, wrote a few brief blog posts, and caught the bug. I haven’t looked back since. I love writing my blog.

But the look and feel had to change over the years. A few years ago I left Blogger and installed WordPress. That’s been working fine until I heard Erica Douglass speak at Pat O’Bryan’s Unseminar 6. She’s a young, successful online entrepreneur with a popular blog. I listened, took notes, and implemented most of the changes she suggested within 24 hours.

There were still more changes to be made. That’s where Craig Perrine stepped in.

Craig is the coauthor (with me) of Inspired Marketing, and the man behind the Attract Miracles website. He completely redesigned  my blog’s look and feel. I loved it but we could never find the right moment to upload the new blog.

But then a hacker broke into my blog and completely wiped it out.

For at least two days I didn’t have a blog at all.

That’s when Craig told me, “Now’s the time to install your new blog.”

We did. And what you see here is my reincarnated blog.

There are numerous lessons here:

1. When the experts speak, listen. I listened to Brad . I listed to Erica. I listened to Craig.

2. Take action. When Brad told me to write a blog, I did — within a few days. When Erica told me to fix it, I did — within 24 hours. When Craig said the new blog was ready for upload, I said do it — instantly.

These are the very secrets you need to follow to achieve and attract the goals you want.

The thing is, most people won’t do the very things they know are right for them to do.

Why?

They fear change.

The known may not be ideal, but it’s comfortable. And we always like to be within our comfort zone.

I’m urging you to get a little uncomfortable and try something new.

Think about something you’ve been meaning to change — whether a blog or a life pattern — and take action to change it right now.

That’s how you reincarnate your life into something you prefer.

It can begin right now.
