The Abundance Manifesto: Secret #4

Here’s Secret #4 for you, below:

As I mentioned previously, over the next few weeks I’m posting ten principles of abundance. I’m calling them The Abundance Manifesto. This is to help pave the way for my new audio program, The Abundance Paradigm: Moving from the Law of Attraction to the Law of Creation (coming out later this month).

These are my observations about how you can attract personal and planetary wealth. Wealth, of course, is more than money, so these ideas are more sweeping than you may at first realize.

Since I’m just sculpting these thoughts, please be forgiving in reviewing them. In fact, what I’d love is your opinion. Please comment on each to help me refine them all. The end result will be a useful set of insights for you, me, and everyone else.

Here’s the fourth one:

Thou shall keep a clear mind

Clarity of mind leads to pure abundance. Beliefs about “not enough” of anything is from scarcity, not abundance. Beliefs that “money is bad” or “there isn’t enough for all” trigger self-sabotage actions and self-fulfilling prophecies . A clear mind is achieved through these ten principles, as well as by de-programming your mind from the history of conflict and shortage. A clear mind is no longer a victim but a co-creator; no longer reactionary but now responsive; no longer lost but clear.

Secret Russia Lesson: Where's Money Come From?

Russia still owes me money.

Well, not Russia, but a couple of Russians.

It’s been a year since I was in Russia for an intense, relentless and unforgiving schedule of speaking gigs, seminars, news interviews, press conferences, autograph parties, movie filming, television interviewing, Q & A sessions with the public, private interviews, and more. Except for help with the seminar, I had to do everything alone. It was exhausting. Good thing I was paid well.

Oh.

Wait.

I wasn’t paid.

It’s been a year and I still haven’t been fully paid for that trip.

When I ask the Russian promoters where my money is, they tell me to ask their partners. When I ask them, they say it’s not their issue. And so it goes.

When I was in Russia, I was told Russians don’t take personal responsibility for anything. They even have a popular book titled Who’s Guilty? Their national pastime is pointing the blame elsewhere.

This isn’t unique to Russia, of course. Virtually everyone has issues with taking personal responsibility. Russia just happens to be the trigger for this blog post.

Given the above, it shouldn’t surprise me or anyone else that I still haven’t been paid for my adventures in Russia. I’ve forgiven them and (almost) forgotten about the deal. The only reason it surfaced recently is they invited me to return to Russia and speak again. (!)

I’m passing.

But this raises a curious question: when someone owes you money, what do you do?

From a Law of Attraction perspective, I got a match to my unconscious fears. At the time, I didn’t trust Russia. It was part of my childhood programming (1953 on) to fear them. When I was a child in the sixties, Russia was the enemy. I learned not to trust them. So I created an outer circumstance to match my inner conviction.

But now that I’ve cleared the beliefs in my unconscious about Russia, what do I do about them owing me money?

From a more Divine view of life (as expressed in my upcoming new audio program The Abundance Paradigm), the money they owe me will come to me – but maybe not from them.

In other words, a big mistake is needing a debt to be paid by the person who owes it. I wrote about this in my book The Attractor Factor. The money doesn’t need to come from that source. If you think it does, you’re setting yourself up for a battle with egos and disappointment.

This is not to say you shouldn’t ask for the money (as I did with Russia) but it is to say you live in an abundant universe and the money can come from someplace or someone else. Don’t waste your time letting a debt eat up your well-being.

In reality, money doesn’t come from people, it comes through them.

Get that: Money doesn’t come from people, it comes through people.

Life is a lot smoother and richer when you forgive and forget. After all, when you hold resentment, the only person that is hurt is you. The emotional pain is in you.

Again, don’t think this post is about Russia. It isn’t.

I found Russia fascinating and met people there I fell in love with and long to see again. I just won’t go back under the same circumstances. I’ve learned and moved on.

You can, too.

As David Hawkins says in his book, Transcending the Levels of Consciousness, “In the spiritual world the basic dictum is, ‘There are no justified resentments’.”

The more you release resentment and forgive, the faster you can Attract Money Now.

Ao Akua,

Joe

PS — Of course, if you owe money, pay it. Don’t fudge on your responsibilities by thinking the person you owe can get that money from somebody else. Doing so sends a message to the Universe, and your own unconscious mind, that you aren’t to be trusted. You can sabotage all your intentions by not honoring one agreement with yourself or another. In short, pay your debts. It’ll help you attract money now.

The Abundance Manifesto: Secret #3

Secret #3 of our ten principles of abundance is below.

As you may recall, I’m calling the bunch The Abundance Manifesto. This is to help pave the way for my new CD audio program, The Abundance Paradigm: Moving from the Law of Attraction to the Law of Creation (coming out soon).

Here’s the third one:

Thou shall give ten percent of all income

The ancient principle of tithing asks you to give ten percent of what you receive as a gift to wherever you received inspiration. Giving leads to receiving. Giving is the nature of the Universe. When you give, you slip into the flow of life. Giving is the very essence of abundance. Give wherever you receive spiritual or inspirational nourishment. Skipping this secret means you still believe in scarcity, else you would give. Giving is a concrete statement of abundance.

Attracting Real Magic

A few weeks ago my favorite magic shop sent out an unusual email.

The owner said he needed sales or he might go out of business.

He asked everyone on his list to buy something, even if it was small and inexpensive, even if it was a gift certificate to be used at a later time.

I responded by ordering a thousand dollars worth of magic tricks and books. (One book cost five hundred dollars, so the tab was easy to reach fast.)

I’m a lifetime member of The Society of American Magicians, the organization Houdini started. I spend a small fortune on magic. Spending a grand on more of it wasn’t unusual. In fact, I was excited about the new goodies I’d be receiving.

I didn’t think anything of the email or my order until I heard from the magic store owner a few days later.

He said someone on his list called him and educated him about the Law of Attraction, saying he was violating the Law by acting from desperation and not intention.

The caller then went on to read excerpts about the Law of Attraction from his favorite Law of Attraction author.

Turns out that author was me.

After the caller completed his lecturing, the magic store owner said he not only personally knew the author of those passages, but that same author just responded to the very email the caller was complaining about, adding that the author (me) ordered one thousand dollars worth of stuff due to that email.

The caller was dead silent.

This raises an interesting question:

Was the magic store owner acting from desperation or was his email an intention triggered by his desperation?

Here’s how I see it:

The magic shop owner looked at his bank statement and realized he needed sales, and fast. He was clear about what he didn’t want (to go bankrupt) and that urged him to be clear about what he did want (to attract more money now). The resulting email was a positive move that led to positive results.

There’s a fine line between acting from desperation and using the desperation to choose what you want. In my book The Attractor Factor I said the first step is to know what you don’t want. The second step is to choose what you do want. The magic dealer did both steps.

He was also practicing sound marketing.

Remember, I wrote many books on marketing, including Hypnotic Writing and Buying Trances. I know a little something about the subject.

The magic dealer gave his prospects a logical “reason why” to buy now: by explaining that times were tough and he needed sales or else, he told the truth and won the hearts of customers like me.

When I received his email, I felt the sincerity in it. I didn’t feel desperation. I didn’t feel pleading. I felt a heartfelt attempt to attract what he wanted: more money from more sales.

And the dealer’s email worked. I responded to it. So did others. He’s still in business.

I wouldn’t be so quick to judge people for what you observe. The Universe responds to the feelings in them that you can’t see. What they get is what they attract. You don’t need to judge them at all.

The bigger question is what are you doing and feeling?

What are you attracting?

What would you prefer to attract next?

There’s where the real magic lives.

Ao Akua,

Joe

PS _- The magic dealer is Denny of Denny Magic Shop. Check it out.
