Law of Attraction Books

My office tells me that people often ask, “What’s the next book I should get for my next stage of growth?”

Here’s what I think –

If you are new to Law of Attraction, or want to better understand it, then read “The Attractor Factor.” That’s the book that got me invited to be in the movie The Secret. It has changed countless lives.
https://www.amazon.com/Attractor-Factor-Creating-Wealth-Anything/dp/0470286423/

If you want to go past LOA and further understand bigger concepts, and go deeper than the law of attraction, then read “Zero Limits.” That’s the book that brought ho’oponopono to the world. It’s by me and Dr. Hew Len.
https://www.amazon.com/Zero-Limits-Secret-Hawaiian-System/dp/0470402563/

If you want to further understand the concepts in Zero Limits, then get the sequel, “AT Zero.” I wrote that book ten years after the first one. It in many ways is far deeper and better.
https://www.amazon.com/At-Zero-Secrets-Miracles-oponopono/dp/1118810023/

If you want to understand spirituality and personal growth from the clearest place I can imagine, then read “The Awakening Course.” It puts LOA and ho’oponopono and everything else into a map of consciousness you can grasp.
https://www.amazon.com/Awakening-Course-Secret-Solving-Problems/dp/1118148274/

If you want to make peace with money and spirituality, then see my latest book, “The Awakened Millionaire.” It’s a manifesto to help you live and profit from your passion, using LOA and The Fourth Dimension Process, and much more.
https://www.amazon.com/Awakened-Millionaire-Manifesto-Spiritual-Movement/dp/1119264162/

If you want to understand how prayer can combine with LOA to get better results and lead to miracles, then read “The Secret Prayer.” It’s quietly been a bestseller and opening hearts and minds to a new way to live.
https://www.amazon.com/Secret-Prayer-Three-Step-Attracting-Miracles/dp/1512264156/

All of the above are available in print, on audio, or for your Kindle reader. Just follow the link beside each book.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Expect Miracles.

Ao Akua,
Joe

When LOA Fails

I know you might be one of those people who feel like the Law of Attraction just doesn’t work for you.

I understand and I want to help.

So let’s begin…

Have you ever had one of those days where gravity wasn’t working for you?

Where you can’t seem to keep your feet planted on the ground and you wind up floating around in the atmosphere?

Of course not.

Why not?

Because gravity is a LAW.

It doesn’t work some days and not work other days.

It’s *always* working, and you are experiencing the effects of it all the time, at every moment.

Even right now.

But you probably never spilled a cup of coffee and said, “Darn that Law of Gravity!”

Instead, you realized it was your actions coupled with the existing law that caused the accident.

Well, the Law of Attraction is exactly the same.

It’s a LAW – not a feel-good principle or some kind of new-age voodoo flake-out.

You can’t “do” the Law of Attraction wrong.

It doesn’t turn off and on, like a light switch.

It’s not subject to fate or fancy.

It is a powerful but neutral force that is constantly operating.

Just like gravity.

And that means something extremely important –

It means that what you have right now (or don’t have right now) is – on some level – exactly what you want.

The good stuff and the bad stuff.

The abundance and the lack.

You’ve attracted all of it.

Why?

How?

Because your conscious thoughts aren’t all there is.

Below the surface, a complex and deep-seated collection of beliefs are exerting an extremely powerful force in your life.

When these subconscious thoughts are in harmony with what you consciously intend, you attract it.

But if there are “counter-intentions” present within you – that is, thoughts and beliefs that run contrary to your conscious wishes – you will not achieve the results you want, no matter how much you want them on the surface.

Your conscious and subconscious need to be aligned to attract the results you prefer

Your conscious and subconscious need to be aligned to attract the results you prefer

This is not cause for blame or guilt.

After all, you weren’t aware of the unconscious beliefs working.

What this is all about is awakening.

I’m probably the only teacher in the movie The Secret that has stood my ground about this.

I’ve taken heat for it, too.

I feel like Freud when he introduced his idea of the unconscious mind in the late 1800s and was booed off stage.

He didn’t back down.

Neither have I.

So how do you get clear of those contrary beliefs within your unconscious mind?

How do you get rid of the inner roadblocks and go warp speed ahead, right to whatever it is you’re trying to achieve or attract?

It took me some time to figure out the answer to that question.

But once I did, it was as if all the limits in and around me shattered.

I thought life was good before – I had no idea it could be THIS good.

I thought I’d achieved a pretty high level of personal and professional success – but the success I experienced once I got clear absolutely blew me away.

I had finally discovered –

“The Missing Secret” that makes the Law of Attraction work the way you want it to – 100% of the time.

There are two ways you can learn this “Missing Secret.”

1 – Get my Nightingale-Conant bestselling audio program. http://www.nightingale.com/missing-secret.html

2. – Get in my famous Miracles Coaching program. http://www.MiraclesCoaching.com

Obviously, the coaching program will require a bigger investment, but the results will be dramatic and fast.

But I understand if you’d rather invest in the audios and listen and awaken at your own pace.

Either way, the choice is yours.

Which will you choose?

Ao Akua,

Joe

PS – Consider: If the Law of Attraction is already working but you aren’t seeing the results you want because you don’t understand it yet, how much more incredible will your life be once you use the Law with conscious intention and crystal clarity? As I often say, “Expect Miracles.”

Here’s your choice:

1 – Get my Nightingale-Conant bestselling audio program. http://www.nightingale.com/missing-secret.html

2. – Get in my famous Miracles Coaching program. http://www.MiraclesCoaching.com

Non-Guru Tony Robbins

Three times.

That’s how many times I’ve watched the Netflix documentary, Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru, which was released on July 15, only days ago.

I’m in the movie The Secret and I haven’t watched that film three times in ten years.

Watch Tony Robbins Film

Watch spellbinding Tony Robbins Film

So why am I so captivated with this film about Tony?

It’s raw but real.

Hard-hitting but healing.

Profane but profound.

I found myself crying throughout it.

I found myself having internal breakthroughs just watching it.

I found myself relating to Tony’s inspired approach to change.

The film captures Tony’s closed-door week-long event called Date with Destiny.

In some ways the event reminded me of the old Werner Erhard est program, and to today’s Landmark Forum.

This film puts you in Tony’s secret space, much like Luke Rhinehart’s The Book of est puts you in an est event.

In both cases, you can safely observe the sometimes rollicking emotions people experience.

And in both cases, you can experience transformation just by going for the ride.

All you have to do is pay attention and feel.

Oh, there are holes in the movie.

Tony says change happens in a moment.

Yet later in the film, when he’s asked how he changed, he says there was no one moment.

Tony comes across as the trigger for change and not any method or principle.

Yet if Tony is needed for change, then methods don’t exist; there is no method. It’s him.

But I’m not a critic of the film; I’m a fan.

That’s why I’ve seen it three times – so far.

I let any holes or inconsistencies slide by as I focus on the good in the movie, the breakthroughs, the insights, the energy, the sharing – all of which act as a catalyst to awaken viewers who aren’t even physically in the seminar room with the giant king gorilla.

This makes the film itself a tool for transformation.

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore told Joe Berlinger (the director of this film on Tony), “I believe it will actually save lives.”

I believe it, too.

A few more reasons why I love the film –

Tony goes past the little problems people offer and goes deeper, to the operating system under what they present.

When a 19 year old says her problem is her diet, Tony digs deeper to discover her issue is with her father, not her diet.

The movie helps prove why we all need coaching; without a trained person’s objective feedback, we will continue to blame our problems on others or on little things and entirely miss the big hidden operating system below our conscious awareness.

And I love statements such as, “You know what your biggest problem is? Thinking you shouldn’t have any.”

Tony goes on to explain that problems are gifts.

I don’t know Tony personally — we spoke at the same event in Chicago years ago, but hours apart, so we have yet to meet* — and I get nothing for endorsing this film from him or the director or anyone else.

But I urge you to watch it and let it stir your soul.

Expect Miracles.

joe

PS – My own television show, all fourteen episodes, is edited and in the hands of Amazon. Stay tuned for details. Meanwhile, go watch the film about Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru. It’s stirring, soulful and spellbinding.

Your Little Engine

On my recent visit to Kuwait, a smiling woman named Alaa Alothman came up to me while I was autographing books and asked something that stopped me in my tracks.

“You say that many books have influenced you throughout your life,” she began, “so I am curious what children’s book had an impact on you?”

I looked up and just stared at her.

“What a truly great question,” I announced. “I’ve never been asked that before.”

I hadn’t, either.

I went on to tell her that I’d have to think about it, as it was something I never considered.

It truly made me think.

After all, what children’s book did I read almost 60 years ago?

With Alaa Alothman in Kuwait

With Alaa Alothman in Kuwait

We talked for a few moments while my mind searched my memory banks for an answer.

And then it dawned on me.

“You know, it may sound simple, but I think The Little Engine that Could was probably the first book that inspired me as a child. I vaguely remember my mother reading it to me in the 1950s.”

Alaa smiled big, nodding her recognition of the famous book.

“The book was about an engine and my father worked on the railroad,” I said. “And the message was about believing in yourself, which I soaked up. It was probably the first self-help book I ever discovered.”

After the event in Kuwait, I became curious about the famous children’s book.

Turns out the story of the positive self-talking little engine goes back to at least 1906.

The first known use of the story is attributed to Rev. Charles S. Wing, who probably didn’t originate the story but delivered it to his congregation in Brooklyn in 1906.

It went like this:

In a certain railroad yard there stood an ex
tremely heavy train that had to be drawn up an
unusually heavy grade before it could reach its
destination. The superintendent of the yard was
not sure what it was best for him to do, so he
went up to a large, strong engine and asked :
“Can you pull that train over the hill?”
“It is a very heavy train,” responded the en
gine.
He then went to another great engine and
asked:
“Can you pull that train over the hill?”
“It is a very heavy grade,” it replied.
The superintendent was much puzzled, but he
turned to still another engine that was spick
and span new, and he asked it:
“Can you pull that train over the hill?”
“I think I can,” responded the engine.
So the order was circulated, and the engine
was started back so that it might be coupled
with the train, and as it went along the rails it
kept repeating to itself: “I think I can. I think
 I can. I think I can.”
The coupling was made and the engine began
its journey, and all along the level, as it rolled
toward the ascent, it kept repeating to itself:
 “I —think —I can. I —think —I— can. I —think— I —can.”
Then it reached the grade, but its voice could
still be heard: “I think I can. I—– think—–I—–can.
I —–think—– I—– can.”
Higher and higher it climbed, and its voice
grew fainter and its words came slower:
“I ——-think ——–I——-can.”
It was almost to the top.
“I ———think”
It was at the top.
“I ———can.”
It passed over the top of the hill and began
crawling down the opposite slope.
‘I ——think——- I—— can——I—– thought——I——-could I—– thought—–
could. I thought I could. I thought I could.
 I thought I could.”
And singing its triumph, it rushed on down
toward the valley.

The classic

The 1930 classic children's book

But the best known version of the story is the book, The Little Engine that Could, published in 1930 and attributed to Watty Piper, the pen name of the publisher, Arnold Munk.

No one knows with any agreed certainty who actually originated the story.

That little story about “I think I can…I think I can…” influenced many, including me.

What children’s book influenced you?

Ao Akua,

joe

Where is God?

“Do you believe in God?”

I would get that question after people read my book, The Attractor Factor, or read (or saw the movie) The Secret.

They somehow assumed that the Law of Attraction replaced God.

They somehow assumed that people who practice the Law of Attraction are playing God.

That confused me.

“God gave you the Law of Attraction,” I would explain. “Just as God — or the Divine, Universe, or Nature — gave you gravity. It’s a tool you can use, but it doesn’t replace the person who gave it to you.”

Not God but keep reading to discover Rudy Pensa and his heavenly store...

Not God but keep reading to discover Rudy Pensa and his heavenly store...

I’d go on to explain that I absolutely believe in God, but usually call that “ultimate force of life” the Divine, to neutralize any emotional buttons people have when they hear the word “God.”

But this unseen force is not only giving us life, It is nudging us in a certain direction, too.

In a way, the force is “pruning” us.

As you go about your life, you get bumped and rocked by events as a way for Life (God, Divine, etc) to direct you where IT wants you to go.

The more you follow the nudges, the easier life gets.

This blog post is an example.

I was sitting, eating dinner with Nerissa, when the idea for this post entered my mind.

I wasn’t looking for an idea.

I was enjoying my dinner.

But I’ve learned to obey the Divine’s inspirations.

So I turned to Nerissa and said, “You know how I get ideas at odd moments?”

She looked at me and said, “See you later.”

She understood.

Here’s another example:

I was in New York City on business and decided to visit Rudy’s Music Store in SoHo.

I knew it was famous, that Rudy Pensa is a renown collector of rare instruments, and I suspected it’d be worth the trip to see it.

Not God either but Gordon French at Rudy's showing me a Versoul electric guitar

Not God either but Gordon French at Rudy's showing me a Versoul electric guitar (made by Kari Nieminen in Finland)

It was.

The beautiful store is two stories of new and old guitars, acoustic and electric, some highly collectible, all stunning.

I was in awe of the place.

In a display case was a 1938 D’Angelico New Yorker archtop guitar.

If you know guitars, you just fainted.

The late John D’Angelico is considered the Michelangelo of guitar makers.

His instruments are sought after by collectors, musicians, museums, and fans.

Books have been written about his style and his guitars.

Even Rudy, the owner of the shop, created a mammoth coffee table book (Archtop Guitars) with some of D’Angelico’s guitars described inside, knew D’Angelico, and owns a few of his works.

Stunning book of guitars by Rudy

Stunning book of archtop guitars made by D'Angelico, D'Aquisto, and Monteleone, compiled by Rudy Pensa

D’Angelico made 1,164 guitars in his life. (He died in 1964).

He didn’t hand carve all those guitars for fame or fortune.

He said, “Big money? Big title? For what? I want to build guitars under my own name, for my own customers, the way I do it! For me that’s a good life!”

And there I was, staring at one of them.

Gordon, the shop keeper, pulled the 1938 masterpiece out of the case and handed it to me.

“I can play it?” I asked.

“Yes, of course,” he said. “We want you to experience any guitar you see here.”

1938 D'Angelico New Yorker

1938 D'Angelico New Yorker

I held the archtop as if it was out of a museum.

I strummed it and heard the sound of angels.

I looked it over and saw God’s handiwork in a guitar.

I could tell the guitar was well played, well loved, and still in flawless shape.

“Everything on it is original except the covering on the pick guard,” Gordon said. “We even have the original case.”

Later, Rudy showed me the ledger in his book revealing the serial number for the guitar, year made, and who it was made for, all in D’Angelico’s handwriting.

This is where I felt the inner tug at my heart that I think is the Divine calling me.

I’ve learned to follow those tugs.

After Rudy told me the price, and I gasped, I asked if there was a discount for a guitar lover who would probably buy other guitars from him.

He laughed, ran some numbers, and gave me a slight break.

I bought it.

What does this have to do with God?

Look behind the scenes…

"Aquired of the Angels" is another book about D'Angelico guitars

"Acquired of the Angels" is another book about D'Angelico guitars

I only felt directed to go to one store in all of New York City.

Rudy’s.

I could have gone anywhere.

And while there, the D’Angelico seemed to call out my name.

I could have ignored it.

I believe all of this was Divinity aiming my direction.

Later, after I left the store and decided to walk two miles back to my hotel, I wondered what would come of my buying an investment grade work of playable art.

Then another inspiration hit me.

(Where do these inspirations come from?)

I realized that my forthcoming book, The Secret Prayer, could be enriched with the story of how I was led to the guitar.

You see, I had said a prayer before I left that morning, asking to be led to the right place and to experience a joyful event.

As I’ve written before, “Prayer is a way to activate the Law of Attraction by requesting an intention and inviting inspiration.”

I said my prayer in a state of gratitude, made a request for an exciting day, and took action by following my hunch to go to Rudy’s.

From there, I simply allowed the miracle.

And it happened.

In other words, God is directing me (and you, too, of course), and we can attract (or allow) miracles when we act on the signs and opportunities we are given.

But we have to participate.

I could have said “I”ll skip Rudy’s and go to Starbucks.”

I could have said, “Nah, that D’Angelico is too expensive.”

I could have said, “No, I’d rather finish dinner than write this post.”

But when you say YES to the inspirations, and take action, you are following Divinity’s plan for you.

When you follow inspiration – whether to build a guitar of the caliber of a D’Angelico, or to buy one – you are following the Divine’s path for you.

But you may need a razor sharp sensitivity to hear the whisper, and total faith to take action on the prompting.

Werner Erhard (founder of est) used to say, “If you knew what God wanted you to do, you’d do it and be happy. Well, what you are doing right now is what God wants you to do.”

So the next time you feel stuck or stopped, ask if Divinity is trying to redirect your path or your process.

Or the next time you receive a nudge to leave dinner early, or buy a guitar, ask if you are ready to step out in faith.

Where is God?

Right here.

Ao Akua,

joe

PS – Rudy’s Music Store in New York City is right here.

PPS – Yes, I was also practicing “prosperous purchasing” by getting the 1938 D’Angelico New Yorker, a concept I explain in my free book, Attract Money Now.
