It will go on to say —
(Austin, Texas) According to Dr. Joe Vitale, author of The Attractor Factor and Life’s Missing Instruction Manual, happiness burns more calories than unhappy emotional states, such as depression, sadness, or anger.
“People mistakenly think happiness is where you sit and vegetate under a lotus tree,” says Vitale, 52, an author and Internet marketer based in Texas. “The truth is, happy people tend to take more actions in the direction of their goals.”
Vitale says he lost 80 pounds by focusing on what he wanted, not on what he didn’t want.
“Unhappy people tend to sit in front of the television, overeat, and do nothing but complain,” he stated today. “Even if they are feeling frustrated, sad, or angry, they tend to bottle their energy and do little to nothing with it. As a result, they get fat.”
Vitale should know. This once obese Internet guru of www.mrfire.com lost eighty pounds. He says he went from being called the Buddha of the Internet to the Charles Atlas of the Internet.
“I began to lose weight when I began to do what makes me happy,” Vitale explained. “Happy people tend to take actions that burn more calories. As a result, they get trimmer.”
To help others get happy and lose weight, Vitale and his personal trainer, Scott York, just announced the world’s first body and business fitness contest at www.yourbusinessbody.com/.
“The idea is to work on your body and your business,” says Vitale. “Get happy, get fit, and make money, too.”
The winner can win $150,000 in Vitale’s marketing services and Scott York’s fitness training.
“Fat people aren’t happy or jolly,” says Vitale. “That’s another myth. When they go home and sit in front of their TV, they cry inside.”

I’m amazed at how many people are circulating an article I wrote a while back on Dr. Len and the Hawaiian healing system called ho’oponopono.
Every day I’m getting calls and emails from people, all declaring their love for the article.
It turns out someone posted it on a Yahoo! news group.
Others posted it on their blogs.
Still others distributed the article to their friends and their own mailing lists.
Not only that, but the article evolved into something more…
My work with Dr. Len inspired me to create a bestselling audio with Pat O’Bryan at www.milagroresearchinstitute.com/iloveyou.htm
My work with Dr. Len also inspired me to hold the world’s first Manifestation Weekend.
And now I’m co-authoring a book on ho’oponopono with Dr. Len, titled Zero Limits, that will come out in 2007. It will be the first ever book on this secret system.
If you haven’t read the article that started it all, it’s at www.mrfire.com/article-archives/new-articles/worlds-most-unusual-therapist.html
An author never knows which writing will touch the hearts of people.
I’m glad this one hit home.
It’s my favorite, too.

I went to my weekly Master Mind meeting today.
Today’s meeting was, in part, about removing limits and raising levels so we can have more. Whether it’s James Caan’s Bentley or a mansion or just a more comfy life, it all begins with an intention.
Today I declared the intention to find more residual income in my life. I really like it when money falls out of the clear blue sky.
I came home from the meeting, made some tea, and checked email. One of the emails was a note that someone had sent me money by Paypal. I thought that was odd as my account at Paypal didn’t show I had received any money.
So I looked closer and saw the person had sent me money to a wrong email address. It’s one of my rarely used email addresses, so it’s mine, but it’s not one set up for me at Paypal.
That made me wonder if I could even access that account through the wrong email.
Long story short, it took several minutes of filling out forms and verifying this and that — What’s my dog’s name, etc — and then I was in.
Well, here’s the punch line.
The account has $12,500.00 in it.
Yea, I had to look twice, too.
$12,500.00.
I looked closer and it’s an account I opened maybe six years ago, when I lived with Nerissa in Austin. Apparently people have been sending me money there and I forgot all about it as I got caught up with life.
Well, today I stated the intention for what I want to receive — and I came home to find $12,500 under my email.
This feels sooooo good.
So, how do you do this for yourself?
It should be obvious that you have to use the ideas in the book, The Attractor Factor, and in the movie, The Secret.
But here’s a handy tool you might want to use, too. It’s a certificate you can print out and look at every day. Write your intention or “demand” on it, and then act on the opportunities that come your way. It’s at www.patobryan.com/certificate.htm
There is magic in the world.
And it all begins with you.

Yesterday I posted about being offered James Caan’s Bentley rocket car and being undecided about it. I said it was an example of not being clear.
Today I made a decision about his car.
How did I resolve it?
How did I get clear?
I basically asked myself three questions:
1. What would I do if I weren’t afraid?
2. What would I do if money were no object?
3. What would be better?
Those three questions helped me on a cognitive level, but freed me on an emotional level.
Once I’ve answered one or more of those questions in a ruthlessly honest way, I’m able to clearly see my real desires, and then take action.
Said another way, once I’m clear of the snags in my thought process, I can connect to my internal guidance system and go with the flow again.
So, after running through the questions, I decided I didn’t want Jimmy’s car.
After all, if money were no object, I’d buy a brand new Bentley GT.
And what would be better than Jimmy’s used car would be a new Bentley made for me.
And what would I do if I weren’t afraid, I’d tell James Caan, “No, thanks. I’ll order a new Bentley of my own.”
And yes, I already contacted two different Bentley dealers. (There’s a two year waiting list for these beauties.)
There you have it.
The entire struggle to make a decision was cut off at the knees once I honestly answered the above questions.
You might try them on your next dilemma.
Later, when I took a nap, I dreamed that Jimmy’s car was no longer stuck half way down my driveway.

PS – What would you welcome out of a clear blue sky? Go see what these people have to say about it. Remember, I love you.
Last January I told actor James Caan — star of The Godfather, Rollerball, Elf, Las Vegas and many other hit movies and television shows — that if he ever wanted to sell his black beauty, a 2005 Bentley Continental GT, I’d buy it.
Well, he’s ready to sell.
I spoke to him last Friday night. He was at home, moaning because he had eaten too much for dinner.
I told him I had just moments earlier watched him on a rerun of his sexy TV show, Las Vegas. He said he knew they were airing them but he never watched them. He’s back at work filming the next season right now.
We talked about his car. He’s never driven anything finer. The seats massage you, the engine can take you into outer space, and the interior cabin makes you feel like you’re in a rocket. Oh, and the car looks hot. Talk about a head turner.
Jimmy didn’t try to sell me on his Bentley, though. He didn’t have to. I loved the car when I first saw it parked outside of Gold’s Gym, before I knew it belonged to James Caan. I later saw it when I visited him at his Las Vegas TV lot trailer. (See picture.) I lusted after it then, too.
Caan has two others ready to buy his Bentley, including the very dealership that sold it to him. He invited me out to drive his car for a while and see if I liked it or not.
I’m pretty sure I’ll love it.
So the real question is: Do I want it?
Hell yes, I want it.
A Bentley is a high-end luxury sports car for the super-rich. And this one has been driven by a celebrity, one of my all-time favorite actors. He’s asking fair market value for it, and he has others waiting to buy it.
Yes, of course, I want it.
But I already have two BMW’s and Nerissa has the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid. We’ve got plenty of wheels around here.
While I deliberate about this decision, let’s look at how this all came to be from an Attractor Factor standpoint:
1. I playfully stated what I wanted.
No addiction. No attachment. No desperation. This state of playfulness is the perfect place to state an intention that gets manifested fast. Again, the fundamental rule is that you get more of whatever you feel. If you feel anxious, you get more things to be anxious about. If you’re playful, you get whatever it is you are being playful about, or something even better. Detachment is the key. You can have anything you want as long as you don’t need it.
2. I took action.
When I learned James Caan was ready to sell his car, I got on the phone. I didn’t wait for him to call me. I got his number, cleared it with a mutual friend that it was ok to call, and I called. You usually have to do something to achieve or attract your goals. Yes, sometimes they will fall into your lap. But it helps if you’re there ready to catch the ball and run with it.
Will I get James Caan’s Bentley?
I don’t know yet.
The third step in attracting what you want is to get clear.
If you don’t feel you deserve something, or you have counter-intentions within yourself, you’ll slow down or even stop the process.
Right now I am getting clear within myself. Buying a car that costs more than you can imagine (around $165,000 for a new one) pushes a few of my buttons. Buying a car when I already have several also pushes some buttons.
I also have to look at what it means to me if I don’t buy the car. Am I saying I’m not rich enough, or not deserving, or not good enough?
Obviously, I have some clearing to do.
Clearing is the missing step in almost all talk of the Law of Attraction.
If you don’t get what you say you want, and it’s clearly out there for you to have or experience, then most likely something within you is stopping the final result.
Here’s an example of what I mean:
Last night I dreamed Caan’s Bentley was parked in my driveway.
But the odd thing was, it was parked half way down the driveway.
My interpretation is that the car didn’t know if it was to pull in and stay, or back up and drive off.
“It” wasn’t clear.
Until I get clear, the car will stay stuck in limbo.
Guess I better take a nap to see what happens next.
