Besides Larry King interviewing me last November, I’m being interviewed every day by other biggies, including Time magazine, Bottomline Personal, and Newsweek.
They all want to know if the law of attraction is really a law.
They all agree that gravity is, but they aren’t so sure about attraction.
The people who say attraction is not a law cite examples such as, “I know gravity works. When I drop a book off a skyscraper, it will hit the ground. That’s proof of the law of gravity.”
Agreed.
They then go on to say, “When I try to attract something, sometimes I get it and sometimes I don’t. So it isn’t a law.”
Not agreed.
Here’s why.
Saying you tried to attract something and failed is like saying you tried to drop a book from a skyscraper to hit a particular spot and you missed. Because you missed the spot, you say gravity doesn’t exist.
This is a little like telling a parachutist that because they didn’t land on the red dot in the field, but instead landed in the trees, gravity doesn’t exist.
Obviously gravity exists. You just don’t know how to use it to get what you want in any specific way.
Same with the law of attraction.
When you focus on attracting a new car, but instead attract a moped, it isn’t because the law wasn’t in effect; it’s because you didn’t work with the law.
Everything you have is what you attracted.
You just did it unconsciously.
No biggie.
No need to feel bad or beat yourself up.
The idea now is to awaken.

Joe

PS – Newsweek is publishing a feature story on The Secret and the law of attraction next week. It should hit the stands any day. I’m eager to see what they say. Stay tuned.

Joe, I don’t think you understand what a Law is and what it isn’t. I just posted a reply: The “Law” of Attraction (Not).
Ah, you might want to re-read my post. 🙂
While people are arguing if LOA is a law or not, others are using the principle/law/insight/method (choose what makes you feel ok) to create lives of happiness and abundance.
The choice is yours.
joe
Maybe they are. And I re-read your post. The Law of Attraction is still not a law, for the reasons I gave in my post.
The next time a cop pulls you over for speeding, be sure to tell him you don’t have to obey that “law,” either.
🙂
A scientific law is a precise description of how the universe works. A speeding law is a rule written by lawyers – it says if you break the law you get a fine. The universe can’t “break” the law of gravitation – that’s the difference.
The math for Newton’s laws works every time. That’s why it’s a law. The Law of attraction does not work every time, if at all – that’s why it is not a law.
Again, LOA does work every time – no exceptions.
Again, re-read my post.
Hi Dr. Joe….
I just want to go on record that I do believe in the law of attraction.
But I still dont understand some aspects of it.
I am hoping that you can explain.
For example….
1) can we say that a rape victim attracted what happened to her.
2) Or what about a 2 month old baby who has the AIDS caused by his/her parents.
3) Or what if the child is born into a poor starving family and he also starves because of it.
I dont know…it just doesnt fair to me.
Because the Law of Attraction says that what we attract we have “chosen”.
But a 2 month old child cant make that choice, because it doest have a choice.
I have many other quetions about the LOA, that no one has yet addressed.
I hope you can shed some light on my queries.
peace
your friend always,
Koorosh
Hi Koorosh. Thanks for your sincere email. As I understand it (and I could be wrong), we come into this life with some “programming.” Others may call it karma. We have to become aware of it in order to change it, but once we do, we begin to attract a new experience. While I might prefer a different beginning experience in life, the truth is, it’s a great gift in helping us awaken. It sure beats feeling like a victim and blaming everyone else, including God.
The Law of Attraction is true and I can prove it:
Mr Joe Vitale never fails to attract $97 from every single sucker who is so stupid to believe the drivel he puts forth in order to sell his book.
Now prove me wrong.
Hi Zaphgod. It’s easy to prove you wrong. My book “The Attractor Factor” sells for under $20, not $97. Maybe you should read it.
🙂
Joe, it is disingenuous and intellectually dishonest to proclaim something a cosmic law and then stipulate all kinds of exceptions that cover you if and when your “law” fails to work as advertised. If I drop a book–and we are standing on planet Earth at the time–it is going to fall; as Skeptico observes, that is the law of gravity. There is no such inevitability with your so-called Law of Attraction. Indeed, LOA has so many conditions and qualifications attached that you can’t possibly call it a true law. You’ll find a convenient way of rationalizing every exception.
I am reminded of what the nuns would tell us about prayer in school: “Of course prayer works, but only God can decide when and where and how.” So, naturally, if you got something you prayed for, it was because “God answered your prayers!” If you DIDN’T get something you prayed for, it was because (as per the nuns) “God heard your prayers, but decided it wasn’t right for you.” Uh-huh. It wasn’t long before I realized that such a rationale could be used to “explain” every possible result, positive or negative or in-between, thus making the whole concept of prayer functionally useless. Much like LOA.
Actually, those nuns were telling you the truth.
And if you re-read my post, you’ll see how I explained the LOA, but for some reason the skeptics are mentally blocking out the facts.
Our egos want it OUR way, and we dismiss and blame others (even God) when we don’t get what we stamped our feet and whined for.
I hope your belief gets you the happiness you seek.
joe
What a wonderfully fun discussion!
I have a few thoughts:
1. The Law of Gravitation is a “theory” that actually breaks down under certain conditions. However, we can make wonderful predictions with it. The same is true for theories of quantum physics as well as the LOA. We don’t have to understand how something works to use it. However, the better we understand something, the easier it is to use it to control our environment.
2. It’s very clear that Joe’s motivation for this is your happiness.
If you want to know more about the LOA but think you’re being ripped off by paying money for something, then don’t pay the money and do some more research. There are all sorts of free resource that explain the LOA. Joe has simply put the information into clear and consise formats so people can use the LOA more effectively…thanks Joe!
3.If you believe in the LOA or if you don’t believe in the LOA, you are correct. However, it is the LOA that makes you correct.
Cheers!
Well said!
People are “attracting” evidence to support their beliefs, not noticing that the other side has “attracted” evidence to support their opposing beliefs.
Pretty cool to see.
🙂
Joe, I believe in the LOA and have started to utilize it in my daily life. I think you’re right about the skeptics blocking it out for some reason. Skeptics will always be skeptics, thats just the kind of people they are. I’m sure these people don’t believe in a lot of things that others have proven to be true.
Joe,
it’s interesting to see the LOA work the way it does, even with all of the blatantly fearful and negative responses it gets. Thanks for simply being there for those who wish to make positive change in themselves, thier communiities, and the world. I can only ask of those who have some driving insistance to make “evil” or “bad” the LOA, please find it in your human hearts to allow others to share and pass-on the goodness. If you do not wish to use it, if it does not speak to you, then lay it aside, until you do.
Hi Joe!
Here is the link to the Newsweek article
http://snipurl.com/1b9m0
They worked to trash The Secret even as those skeptics here in the blog. Seems that no matter how good or valid something is there will be closed minds ready to deny it’s existence. These are from the same group of people who denied the existence of electricity, were convinced the earth was flat, that man couldn’t fly, etc…
I think this has to do with people’s addiction to suffering and victimization as per the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?”
I am simultaneously amused and saddened by the discourse surrounding The Secret, as it seems to be a metaphor for the intense polarization that has long replaced true introspection and exchange of ideas.
On the one hand, supporters of the Secret/LOA claim that they represent Universal Law, yet rationalize that any event which might appear to be inconsistent with its status as law is merely a misinterpretation of the “law” or the event itself, along with the implication that the observer misses the point due to his or her own lack of spiritual evolution. This is merely the perpetuation of the early dogmatic teachings of a priest class eager to maintain control over the unsophisticated masses. Such condescension might keep some “believers” in line, but does not serve the quest for spiritual growth.
On the other side, there are those who dismiss any theory which has not been proven with empiric data in numerous studies as being the product of deluded fools. In so doing, they attempt to elevate themselves as being intellectually superior to others. Again, condescension replaces honest efforts to discover truth.
What these people fail to consider is that all instances of human progress were borne of efforts to establish a “truth” that was not previously considered, much less proven. Had Edison followed such a mindset, he would have known – thanks to extensive prior research in metallurgy – that a tungsten filament would not work in an incandescent lamp. He proceeded, however, his enthusiasm based in what *might* be, while facing scorn from the *scientists* of his day.
Somewhere in the middle, there is (IMHO) the presence of real Truth, as opposed to the polarized interpretations of truth. To claim that the universe is like a catalog, and that it is our highest calling to browse that catalog and focus upon our desires runs contrary to the lessons of all major spiritual teachers.
I am especially put off by the notion that in order to achieve a positive life, one must turn one’s focus upon what is desired, and away from all things negative. Christian tradition is based upon embracing the less fortunate, and Buddhist tradition is founded in the realization achieved by Siddhartha after he finally emerged from his protected life and observed the sadness that arose from the insatiable fulfillment of desire. He understood that attachment to the “good,” as well as avoidance of the “bad” were merely the two sides of the same coin.
He also understood that Right Thinking was powerless without Right Action. Focusing upon a desired outcome was essential, but failure to expend the logical effort to achieve that outcome rendered that Right Thinking powerless.
My greatest objection to the Law of Attraction/Secret phenomenon is that it serves to perpetuate an imbalanced approach to life. I realize that the marketing phenomenon surrounding it is very successful, and that you are to be credited in no small part for that success. But I am left to wonder: When sales of this latest, greatest Path to Enlightenment begin to dwindle (as have those previously marketed by the proponents), will yet another, even greater Path be “discovered?” If so, perhaps The Secret/LOA consumers should objectively ask themselves what it really is: A spiritual path or a marketing exercise.
Hi Joe
You can’t block a law.
That book *will* hit the ground.
If everything in life is what we have attracted then the law isn’t blocked, can’t be blocked and won’t be blocked.
The idea that the spirit beings have told us that we are born preprogrammed with our destiny to have aids or end up in torturous pain in a burn ward is rather incomprehensible.
(There would be no purpose to life if this were the case.)
The millions of Jews didn’t want to be burned to death in concentration camps like Auschwitz. They did NOT attract that. They did NOT want that. They FOUGHT that. They wanted their freedom. They wanted to live and love on their own without Hitler and the Nazi’s.
The Jews and the Pole’s say, not only didn’t KNOW they were going to be burned to death in literal ovens, they didn’t have a CLUE that was going to happen to them.
They attracted this?
How?
Much love to you my dear friend.
Kevin

Maybe we “believers” of LOA are a little to blame for all this skepticism.
By constantly trying to prove to the skeptics, we are falling into their little game of drama.
After all….what you focus on, expands.
Besides, I wouldnt waste my time on someone who is not even willing to listen.
Because their mind is already made up.
We should focus on discussions, rather than debates.
Joe….I havent received the reply to the comment I made to your post, “The other secret”
If you are not able to disclose the information, I understand.
If you want to email me the answer, I can send you my email address.
Dr. Vitale,
I think there’s a problem with my law of attraction. Every night and day for the last six years, I wished for more money, and finally I believe my prayers were answered…sort of. See, I woke up last Monday to find nearly two hundred thousand male deer on my front lawn. My neighbor is a hunter, and let me tell you, he had a field day. I wouldn’t necessarily think that was strange, given the mysterious ways in which the law sometimes works, but I’ve also been wishing for a way to better please my wife, and the following Thursday a car broke down outside our house. Its occupant was a seven-foot-tall man, on his way to play piano at the Met!
Please, Joe, can you tell me what’s wrong with my LoA? Because I know I haven’t been trying to attract 200,000 bucks and a big pianist!
Wellllll.. this is just classic! I just love the comments in the exercise of LoA and the fellow gets 200K+ male deer and a very tall pianist! Marvelous! To me, if 200K+ male deer showed up on your front lawn, the vibrational signal sent out to the universe was one that “I love great quantities of male deer”. “Male deer are my favorite.” At the same time .. you could sent out the signal “I’m scared to death of male deer .. I hope to NEVER see, smell, nor hear of any anytime soon.” The universe in listening, hears the request for MALE DEER .. and responds accordingly.
As for the giant pianist to show up with a broken down car .. the vibrational match was “I love the presence of pianically talenet tall people” -or- “I hate it when long pianoed musicians wind up on my doorstep”. Either way, the universe responded to the request for TALL PIANO PLAYING PERSON and delivered him to your door.
This (LoA) is obviously a subject you are OPEN to .. or CLOSED to . almost unto a subject of religion. I personally am a proponent of the LoA. I wasn’t introduced to it until about a couple+ weeks ago. I personally have thought many of the things of the LoA for quite some time, but had never seen it assembled into a single cohesive manner as “The Secret” which includes LoA.
Gravity .. is a LAW .. yes. However, as I remember gravity, it all depends on the mass of an object. Here on earth, gravity is apparent because if you drop somethng off a building -or- from a tall tree -or- from some kind of altitude.. whatever the object you dropped from your control.. will fall to the ground. Assuming wind and other forces don’t play a factor in the fall of the object, yes you can calculate exactly where it is going to land. I’d imagine that only critically controlled areas (where WE have complete control of the surrounding environment) are we able to drop something and have it HIT the prescribed target at the exact moment in time.
Yet, if we get to ride the International Space Station (ISS), and perform a spacewalk with an object that we can carry in space. We can let the object go at any time in our spacewalk and it’ll float off in the tangent of direction that it was last heading as we let go of it. Here we are .. floating above the Earth at 17K mph and we let go of a book (that is also going 17K mph) slowly but surely.. it’ll have a different trajectory than you will as YOU stay in relatively the same position to the ISS than the object as you released it. So.. GRAVITY is relative in it’s application. On the moon, when Alan Sheppard hit a golf ball (Apollo 14) from the surface of the moon, the gravity of the moon (approximately 1/6th of Earth) was in operation and the lunar golf shot went literally hundreds (who knows .. maybe thousands) of yards. He didn’t hit it with the force you could put on a golf ball here on planet Earth at your local golf park. The moon also didn’t pull the ball back to the surface nearly as fast as it’d be pulled back to the Earth. So.. the shot went on- and on- and on-. So.. gravity is indeed a law. In a book I’ve read somewhere, “Gravity” is called an ‘agreement’ becuase gravity doesn’t have the same *pull* everywhere. Gravity of Earth is different from the vaccuum of space, or the moon, or Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, etc.
LoA is also law. If you want more money, it’s all about your thoughts and feelings of money. What is it within you that the mention of *money* triggers? Does it trigger a response of “I don’t have enough money.” “I’ll never have enough money.” “There’s always more month left at the end of the money.” “My pile of bills is larger than any stack of money”, etc? If it is, then your primary focus is on LACK of MONEY. If your focus is on the LACK of -whatever- … that’s exactly what you’ll get … less and less .. whatever. What money get get, won’t stretch as far. It’ll be consumed faster and faster.
If you thought of money is one where you don’t react with a “ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh… money” type tought and have a “Money flows to me in abundance”, “I have an unlimited supply of money”, “money is a tool to get some of the desires of my heart”, “I am a money magnet” and good positive feelings that go with those kinds of thoughts.. then money is coming your way.
The universe, hears MONEY and then sends the vibrational match back to you. Either the lack thereof or the abundance thereof.
Now.. if you have the POSITIVE thoughts of money .. and can stay there for a while.. You’ll have placed an order for more money. B-b-b-b-b-but, if in the middle of your positive order for more money .. if your negative (previously very dominant side that lives to enslave you into the LACK of MONEY) comes through and says “Ohhhhhhh.. that’s just wishful thinking. It’ll never happen to me.” I hate to say it, but you just cancelled your order for more money and replaced it with a bigger order for the LACK of MONEY. And because you have a greater passion linked with the LACK of MONEY.. it’ll probably happen faster.
LoA .. is a law.
“They worked to trash The Secret even as those skeptics here in the blog. Seems that no matter how good or valid something is there will be closed minds ready to deny it’s existence. These are from the same group of people who denied the existence of electricity, were convinced the earth was flat, that man couldn’t fly, etc…”
Really? Because I’m pretty sure we’ve known that the Earth is round for a long time now, so anyone that had denied that would now be dead. But if you’re talking about a subculture or group of people existing throughout history, then maybe you should notice that most of the people arguing against LOA are rational, logic-minded, people; some are even scientists!
Do you believe in causality? As in, everything that happens is an effect of some cause, and those causes are effects too. A man stuck in a traffic jam is stuck there because of the wreck fifteen minutes earlier, not because he was attracted to the idea of being late for work. To assume that your thoughts have any bearing on anything other than your own actions and what you affect through those actions would be arrogant and frankly, ignorant.
The other day I was “testing” the LOA, and I decided to use an example that you guys used, the traffic jam. Well sure enough, traffic slowed down. Later that night when I got home, I was watching the news when I found out that the traffic jam that I attracted led to an accident where someone was badly hurt.
Joe, am I liable for this accident? My messing with the laws of the universe may not be the best thing for they world. I’m afraid to attract anything at this point for fear of causing “after affects.”
On a side note: Tom, I’m a big fan of venison, can you send some my way? My usual source didn’t get a big enough deer this year.
Well.. let’s look at this for a couple of moments. Traffic jam..hmmmmm… well.. one thing you need to realize is that *cause* and *attraction* are two different things. If you’re *attracting* a large pile of bills (obviously unpaid), the *cause* of them would be because you’ve got debt to pay that hasn’t been fully remitted. You *caused* the bills .. and your current lifestyle keeps the bills from being paid fully and on time. Because the bills are past due .. life seems to be dealing to you more and more and more bills. Now about the traffic jam situation … you didn’t cause the traffic jam .. you were *attracted* to it. More than likely .. there are other *jams* in your life as well. What at work isn’t flowing easily? What currently is stuck in a rut or a big puddle of mud? What doesn’t seem to be going forward? Is there a particular project or two? Is there someone that always seems to be in the way? What about relationships… do you have any relationships that have gone stagnant? If that’s the case, then you’re in the middle of relationship t-jam as well. Have you stopped learning and improving yourself? Are you at an educational t-jam? What about spiritually? Do you know everything and there’s nothing else for you to learn in about the spiritual aspect of things? If so, then you’re in the middle of a spiritual t-jam.
You source of deer meat .. the larger deer in his area must have not been *attracted* to the areas they’d normally go to wind up in your freezer. Maybe there was a male deer t-jam in the area.
Sounds reasonable to me. I surely hope you’re not in the mother of all life-bearing life-mode traffic jams.
As a 20+ year veteran of computer application development and services, it really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this stuff out. Even us computer geek / nerds can accept it.
“Do you know everything and there’s nothing else for you to learn in about the spiritual aspect of things?”
To carry this same logic a bit further, I think any reasonable person would admit that they’re not finished learning, even on the day of their death. Therefore, if we choose to attract or manifest something, we are doing so from a point of spiritual immaturity, no matter how evolved we happen to consider ourselves.
As children, it was not unusual for us to wish to see the local bully (or a difficult teacher) destroyed. Fortunately, we lacked the power (on a spiritual level, anyway) to “attract” the desired result. As adults, we are still not really qualified to determine whether or not the realization of all our desires would serve our best interest on a spiritual scale.
There’s an old Islamic proverb which states that if we can’t bring Muhammad to the mountain, we each have the power to move the mountain to Muhammad. The trick is that before we can access that power, we must first possess the wisdom that placed the mountain where it stands.
I deeply believe that if there is a Grand Plan, it must be borne of purely benevolent intent, and feel it would be inconsistent with that benevolence to provide spiritual children with the equivalent of a loaded gun. For that reason, I cannot accept the premise of LOA/The Secret as it has been presented.
Of course, if there is anyone who honestly believes that he or she is so evolved as to be qualified to discern the best possible outcome of all his or her desires – on every level – we definitely need to hear from them. But as an old Master once taught me, if you’re still walking the Earth, you’re not there yet.
Hi,
Really, what’s the point of attacking Joe when his mission is to help others? So big deal you don’t believe it’s a law. You don’t have to understand something for it to work obviously 🙂
I’ve studied the law of attraction and quite frankly it’s well known throughout the world in other cultures. We had lost it in the West. It is supported scientifically by much experimental evidence (if that kind of thing makes this any more real for you).
The Secret was an introduction into the concepts and nothing else. LOA is actually very complex when you start thinking about it. There are many implications to ponder. It doesn’t work instantly, and I don’t think it’s supposed to. I find appreciating LOA easier because I believe that life has a purpose and a design. The idea that we create our world from our emotions (emotions being the language of creation) makes more sense for me from that standpoint. Take your past out of your future and you create a space for *anything* there. You can then choose what you want to be there and it will draw you to it. Just some thoughts.
If you’re interested in a collection of quotes about the law of attraction that show how it has been supported by some of the greatest minds of our culture take a look at my law of attraction guide on my profile.
The Law of Attraction: A Comprehensive Guide
Peace!
Chris
On the secret vs science page you state this.
What about the people in Africa?
Well, do you think they know The Secret?
Hardly.
What about children dying?
Well, do you think they know The Secret?
Hardly.
And what if someone who knew The Secret ended up in Africa or with a disease?
Obviously (as the movie points out), they could change themselves and their situation.
That’s the whole point of knowing The Secret.
Given what you stated above could you tell us why you are not sharing the secret in Africa, thereby doing a huge service for the world rather than selling it in the west where people are using it to avoid traffic jams and getting themselves new bikes?
“I’ve studied the law of attraction and quite frankly it’s well known throughout the world in other cultures.”
As is the belief that the future can be told by the pattern formed when chicken bones are tossed on a plate, or that one can attract a romantic partner by drinking specific herbs. All interesting, all accepted by a significant number of people, but hardly proven to be true by such criteria.
“We had lost it in the West. It is supported scientifically by much experimental evidence (if that kind of thing makes this any more real for you).”
The appeal of some “lost” technology is entertaining. No doubt about it. That same appeal drives the hunger for many practices alien to our culture. If there have been scientific studies performed by objective (and mainstream-accredited) research facilities which prove the efficacy of LOA, I have missed them, and would be very interested in seeing them. Links?
I cannot see where posing an honest challenge to any belief system constitutes an attack. I, for one, have shared reasons why I find the LOA as marketed in the Secret to be contrary to a quest for spiritual evolvement. Others have done the same, though some do seem to have as significant an emotional investment in making the Secret followers wrong as some followers have in portraying unbelievers as spiritually inferior.
On either side, I think the level of defensiveness is quite telling, and certainly fails to serve the objective of clarifying one’s point of view. Just a thought…
It is supported scientifically by much experimental evidence (if that kind of thing makes this any more real for you).
Really? Well gee I’d sure like to see all the experimental evidence. And please don’t try and pass anecdotal hand-waving and leap of logic posturing as evidence.
How about producing this for us?
I’m just reading through a few of these comments, and while I disagree with Joe’s religion, I applaud him for allowing some of the negative posts through. Too often conservative / new age blogs try to aggressively censor their readers.
On a related note, I saw what the bleep hoping to learn about quantum physics and the secret because my mom was really excited about it. I was horribly disappointed both times.
Cheers.
Say Joe, why would you ask people to buy you Amazon gift certificates? Why don’t you just wish for whatever you want? Or if you must buy at Amazon, why not wish for a million dollars in your bank account?
You’re so pathetic!
Well, I’m just shaking my head in utter disbelief that, at the dawn of the 21st Century, people such as Dr. Vitale are profitting via a slick video that argues for abused children, rape victims, and other such unfortunates as being responsible for such fates.
It’s really, really sick.
Jody, I don’t make any profit at all from the movie, and the movie doesn’t take your position at all. You might want to watch it again.
joe
Mark, I don’t tell people to “wish” for things. That rarely works. You might want to read my book, or even A book, about this subject. 🙂
Joe, if you are arguing that it’s a “Law” of the “Universe” that people attract to them what they think about, then yes, those who are raped, maimed or otherwise harmed brought it upon themselves.
And yes, you are profiting from the DVD. It’s free advertising for the anti-Human views you proffer.
Mark, I don’t tell people to “wish” for things. That rarely works. You might want to read my book, or even A book, about this subject. 🙂
But doesn’t the video say that the universe is like Aladdin’s genie? The genie granted wishes! And it said that the universe was like your own private catalog, and you could attract whatever you wanted and it would give it to you. I’m so confused, I don’t know what to do, and if it weren’t for all this venison that giant musician would be eating me out of house and home!
And tyler: I don’t think I ever sent out any vibes about deer or piano players at all! I was trying to attract money and a little male enhancement (without the Enzyte), if you know what I mean. Is my Law of Attraction broken? Maybe it’s hard of hearing. Can I try to attract the universe some hearing aids?
Bourgeois_Rage: I’d love to send you some venison, but I have to feed this huge musician something. Maybe you could attract some yourself! I’ll certainly do my best to help!
Tom: you said…
I don’t think I ever sent out any vibes about deer or piano players at all! I was trying to attract money and a little male enhancement (without the Enzyte), if you know what I mean.
.. well .. I have to judge your thoughts by the results. If you received a large herd of male deer, your thoughts were upon male deer. I consider myself *grateful* with a lifetime supply of Bambi-meat. If your results left you with a 7 ft. tall pianist, you must’ve had thoughts aimed in that direction. I’d also consider myself *grateful* to receive such because I like music produced via keyboard.
Be *thankful* / *grateful* for what you have .. don’t focus for *lack* or you’ll get more *lack*.
As I see it, LoA (for you) is obviously 100% operational and in speedier fashion that it is for many. That’s another thing to be grateful.
Seems like, you’ve got it mastered to me. When are you going to start helping with teaching this?
Dr Vitale. I tried emailing you at [email protected] snad it came back undeliverable. Is there an alternate email address for you?
Eric Hahn [email protected]
My email is on ever post of my blog.
The Cartesian Method that states “Accept as true only what is indubitable” directed much of the Western world. Science should thanks Descartes a lot by his method, because it helped to separated what was true science from what was just witchcraft. But the extreme skepticism of the method also make the western world miss a lot of good things. For example, you can’t prove acupuncture works, but you see the results a lot of times. I think is the same thing with the law of attraction.
I also think that is not apropriate to call it a law. But to negate it just because you can’t prove it is not reasonable.
Hello Joe,
Thank you for your diligent pursuit in teaching “The Law of Attraction”. As always there are the skeptico’s of the world who simply DO NOT GET IT nor will they in the near future.
Their “kind” where at one time standing firmly on a flat world (because science told them it was flat) expecting the great explorers to fall off the edge into an abyss never to be seen again.
Today we all know how that turned out don’t we?
Kat
Wow I love your blog. It’s great! I feel so greatful because I found the marvel of the laws of the universe, like the law of attraction, at such a young age.I’m 15 years old and it’s crazy to see teens my age thinking their lives are worthless because they don’t have control over anything, and they dwell on everything they DON’T want. But I KNOW,that I control EVERYTHING, we are all co creators of our universe.
Thank you for the love you’ve given me, and how we’re attracting each other, because we are growth seeking beings.
My Blog:(The crazy 15 yr old that knows the laws of attraction.)

Hello, Joe .
You made a very good point that those who attack you are MISSING when they deal with the Law of Attraction (LOA).You stated the following:
“As I understand it (and I could be wrong), we come into this life with some “programming.” Others may call it karma. We have to become aware of it in order to change it, but once we do, we begin to attract a new experience.”
Very well said. You are right!!!
To make the LOA easier to understand, here are better definitions: “It is done unto you as you believe”, “Be it done unto you according to,your faith”, “Whatever the mind can conceive and BELIEVE, the mind can achieve” (Napoleon Hill)..
But the best ones are “Whatever you deeply believe at the subconscious level you will materialize in your physical reality”.OR “You create your own reality according to the beliefs you deeply hold in your Subconscious”. Those belies (including values/rules) are creating our physical reality.
We attract according to the PREDOMINANT nature of our thoughts. And our PREDOMINANT thoughts are a direct function of our beliefs. WE think MOSTLY in the direction of our PREDOMINANT beliefs.
So, ultimately our BELIEFS are what determine what we attract.
Ultimately, our BELIEFS are what activate the vibrations we send out and put into motion the LOA.
And some of these beliefs most likely come from past lives– as well as specific beliefs “pre-programmed” into us BY US prior to being born in order to meet some KARMA during this lifetime.. That may be causing us to have to learn that Karmic lesson the HARD way instead of the easy and fun way.
As you CORRECTLY stated that, as long as we do not become aware of those beliefs, we will NOT escape from that ‘karma’.
Once we become aware of those
pre-programmed beliefs, eliminate them and replace them with more empowering beliefs we are CHANGING our karma and will learn lessons in an easier and more fun way since now the LOA, operating with BETTER beliefs, will attract to us BETTER and more pleasant events, people and circumstances.
The mistake made by all those who are attacking you is that they IGNORE (don’t understand) that BELIEFS are the ultimate responsible for activating the LOA.
The vibrations we send out into the universe are produced by our most PREDOMINANT thoughts, which are in the direction of our PREDOMINANT beliefs.
To change these ‘bad’ vibrations we must change the underlying BELIEFS, which will change the nature of our habitual/PREDOMINANT thoughts, which will change the ‘bad’ vibrations into the ones that will activate the LOA into bringing us what we desire. Really SIMPLE.
And UNLESS they (1) understand that, (2) then become aware of those limiting beliefs and (3) change them, the LOA will continue to “FAIL”(!!) in bringing them what they desire.
Now, the LOA is not really FAILING. NOT AT ALL. The LOA is operating in their lives in response to their OLD beliefs, beliefs they are not even aware of. The LOA is working PERFECTLY.
These people who attack you FAILED to activate the LOA correctly because they are attempting to attract NEW happiness and abundance while still holding on to the OLD beliefs which the LOA is materializing as hard experiences.
The LOA did NOT fail. THEY did.
And they attack you for that.
I really enjoyed all your responses and the COOL and collected way you handle your detractors.
More Power and Success to you!
Leo F.
