“Read of the Decade?”
That’s what Tellman Knudson is saying about The Rise of the Author, a new Special Report by Mark Joyner, which you can get for free at:
http://www.simpleology.com/p/riseoftheauthor/mrfire/rotaemail/
I’m still processing this so I don’t know if I can articulate how important this is yet, but let me state that this isn’t just important for authors.
If you *are* an author, you need to drop everything and read it.
Period.
If not, please know that what Mark outlines in here is information that may not just change authorship, but technology itself.
His concept of “Technology Binds” for example is totally new and pretty well explains virtually everything that has happened in the last several thousand years.
The challenge he puts out to the world on page 66 may be the most significant technology advancement in our history.
He’s wanting to get this message to the right people to make it happen fast. So it’s free. Get it, read it, and pass the word.

Dear Joe. I love you. I read all of your stuff and recommend your books to everyone. However, after reading the teaser from Mr. Joyner, I’m very disappointed. I would have loved to read more of what he is sharing. I found value in the information I’ve read so far. But could he do it without trashing me?
I’m a network marketer and am proud to tell you that I market nutritional supplements that are helping create healthier lives all over the world. I care deeply about my customers, and I teach other network marketers how to be successful making money from home.
I did not expect to read something that you highly recommend and get insulted. Had it not been for the attack on network marketers in the health and wellness field I would have purchased the rest of his story. Reminds me of a politician. Greed I’d say.
Again, I love you.
Yours truly,
Lisa
Oh, and thank you again for Zero Limits. It changes everything. 😀
I read this report, yesterday, and I was very happy to see that others agree that the book publishing market is headed into uncharted territory. I have written an ebook, and am now in the process of seeking an agent and publisher for a second book. However, self-publishing has been in the back of my mind, recently, and I am considering that route. I am already putting together my own marketing plan, because I understand most of the promotion is left to the author, anyway.
As a first-time author, it is hard to determine which route to go. It seems a book touted by a publishing firm gives the author more credibility, as of now, but it is a Catch-22 situation. Publishers want writers who have already been published, but writers have to have someone willing to give “newbies” a chance, as well. There are likely many great stories not being published, because so many writers give up after repeatedly being rejected. I’ve already gotten several responses to my proposal that begin with, “This sounds very interesting and I wish you the best of luck, however….”
I called and spoke to a published author (she has over 20 books on the market), and she told me about the decline in book sales. People aren’t reading books like they once did, and the new technology has to be figured into the decline. I’ve already been practicing with videos and audios, because I realize these are two very important ways to reach an audience. Of course, you, Joe, are one of the few who really understand all this, and I observe your techniques with great interest and awe.
In the past, I would have gotten discouraged and not even attempted to become a published author, but I see many options, these days, so I no longer feel I have no control (and using the LOA is an added benefit, as I understand I have complete control).
I stopped worrying about “how” my book will be published. It will happen. I am taking action in that direction, daily. It is wonderful to hear people like Mark Joyner offering new hope to people like myself who intend to become published authors. Reading his article/ebook renewed my determination!
I look forward to hearing more about all this! For writers like myself, still lurking in the wings, this is promising news.
God Bless–
Jodi
Like you said, Joe, I had to stop and process the challenge he offered on page 66 before commenting. Is there any type of communication not subject to censure? We have radio, television, telephone, telegraph, and various computer-controlled devices, outside of the written and person-to-person speaking.
What came to me is that anything requiring a transmission source is automatically subject to control, because the source can be compromised. Thinking more on this, I understood that communication is energy. In all wave to particle and particle to particle transmissions, we have the element of control. Someone/something could intervene and block or change the transmissions. Censorship in all forms of media seems to be the norm, but every time one is blocked, another emerges, so I have complete confidence a way will be found. Of course, wave to wave is the most difficult place to intervene, but we all know of mind control. It seems to me that science may not be the answer. Perhaps we need to look more in to consciousness issues. There are some physics who communicate with no physical element involved, and that may be a place to begin. I do believe the day is not far away where we all tap into a less restricted manner of communication…perhaps telepathic. However, in a state of equal and opposite, we also have those already hard at work, trying to figure out how to control that, as well. Interesting topic! I’ll have to think on this some more!!!
Hi Lisa, I wonder if you and Joe are talking about the same thing? As the author of The Rise of the Author, I’m pretty sure there is nothing in there about network marketing at all. I’m also pretty sure it’s not just a teaser, but a fully developed and presented set of ideas.
Did you actually download and read the PDF called “The Rise of the Author?” You might have been sidetracked by something else on one of the pages perhaps?
True, I’m not fond of network marketing, but there is nothing that expresses those sentiments in The Rise of the Author at all. I’ve spoken about it before, but hardly being motivated by greed it’s based on me wanting to share what I’ve seen network marketing do to peoples’ lives as the former owner of a few network marketing companies and a former top distributor of a few as well. If I’d been greedy about it, I would have stayed in rather then get out because I see it harming people.
You and I can agree to disagree on that, though, right? Surely you don’t have to agree with everything I say in order to benefit from the other ideas that might help you?
Joe and I disagree on a few things, but he’s also one of my best friends on this planet. LOVE the guy.
Heck, you could use the ROTA stuff to become the greatest network marketer on the planet – wouldn’t bother me a bit. 🙂
Cool?
MJ
Glad you commented on this, Mark. I was really confused, also. I knew there was nothing in your PDF about network marketing. I hope Lisa goes back to read your article, because it is very inspiring and informative. Thanks, again!
