marilyn_joe_sm.jpg A friend of mine decided to give a kidney of hers to a colleague.

Now stop and think about this.

If you were asked to donate one of your kidneys, what would you say?

What if the person you were giving your kidney to wasn’t a family member, a friend, or even a coworker?

What would you do?

Marilyn Levin heard of a colleague who needed a kidney. Without hesitation, she offered hers.

Of course, after she said she would do it, she went through a month long internal soul-searching process of asking herself why, and did she really want to do it.

She used the question to help her grow. She wondered if she was coming from ego or the divine. She read books. She meditated. She asked personal friends for their opinion.

In the end she still decided to donate her kidney to her colleague.

Only now she needs $20,000.00 to cover her part of the operation.

She put up a website to help raise the needed funds. I’m donating at it, and I urge you to, as well.

I find Marilyn’s story inspiring.

Think about it:

What would you do if asked to donate a kidney?

Please go to Kindey For Thomas and donate.

Joe

With all the money you spend on cars, not to mention everything else, it seems to me you should pay for this operation. And why I won’t be surprised if this comment doesn’t show up? Maybe because it will reach YOUR “Zero limit”.

Hi Marie. Apparently my post pushed a button in you. I’m sorry.

The invitation to ask “What would you do?” wasn’t an invite to be self-righteous, but to be self-reflective.

I give more money than you’ll ever know, as anyone who has read this blog over the years suspects, but that’s not the point of giving.

Giving helps you and all involved when YOU give. It’s very easy to sit in judgement of others, but that doesn’t help anyone or activate the law of giving in your own life. When you give with a loving heart, you will receive, too. But YOU have to give to make it happen.

But I’ll make this easy on you: I’ll match whatever you give to Marilyn’s site for Thomas. Go and make a donation, send me proof of it, and I’ll match your donation at the site.

So, Marie, what will you do?

    Blessings,

    joe

Since I also am seeing this, it’s up to me to make amends with The Divine…

Therefore, I say to The Devine: Whatever I did to cause this person to feel this way, I’m sorry. I don’t know what it was, but please forgive me. I love you, God. Thank you for all creation, this life and these problems that teach us. I love it all. Please transmute these memories to zero and heal all of this chain of events and memories back to the original origins.

You know this surfacing of negative memories has made me want to share something I’ve learned here. and that is that now days I try to only say GOD BLESS to all negative events, memories and everyone who is appearing in my life instead of GOD D*MN now.

It is not in the nature of Creation to damn things, and you cannot make it do so by saying this. When you are saying “gd” you are only reinforcing bad programming and memories within yourself. You are blocking the loving energy and light, instead of being a conduit for it. You will continue to dwell in darkness. When you realize this, you start to feel really stupid for gd’ing a cup that spilled or a tire that went flat or that person (who is a a creation of The Devine just as YOU are). When I realized what i was actually saying I began to catch myself saying it all the time! No wonder I was always having stuff falling and stubbing my toes and things!

When you are saying GOD BLESS you are opening a channel for love, light and understanding to flow through you. You are also healing bad memories and erroneous programs running within. You can truly cause blessings to occur, because that is the wish of the Good and Happy Always Creating Universe. Just as Jesus healed others, so can you. It IS possible to heal others by healing yourself.

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” -Mother Theresa

    God bless all.

You have your own cult following that you continue to get money from. As someone whose job it is to predict trends, I have no doubt your star will fall in value.

Hi Mark. I didn’t know I had a “cult following.” Thanks for the heads up. It’s a little odd to post a negative comment where I’m trying to help a woman do a good deed. But I’ll let it stand.
    Blessings,
    joe

    🙂 Hi Joe,
You keep up the good work and I know that you won’t let ‘nay sayers’ slow you down. We have learned the past few months that when you try to do good and put yourself ‘out there’ for all the world to see that you get all kinds that put you down for trying to do something nice or help others.

Sometimes it’s amazing that people will go out of their way to be negative. But that is part of what makes the world go ’round.

I just got your new Hypnotic Marketing ebook and I’m looking to make to make it an important part of my quest to provide for my family and their many needs.

    Blessings to YOU!
    John

Hi Mark, I guess you must be part of Joe’s cult following seeing as you read his blog. Good for you. 😀
Let me just point out – as someone who contacted Joe ‘cold’ via email – asking for help. I received his personal advice, encouragement and friendship (and have benefitted greatly as a result). Joe asked for absolutely nothing in return, he was happy to help. I am just one of countless people to whom he has freely given his time (without any fuss or publicity on his part).
You might consider the possibility that this is the ‘mysterious’ reason so many people like and respect Joe Vitale.
[Interestingly, I have never heard Joe utter a bad word about anybody else…!]

I thought Pat O’Bryan was the only one who had a cult…!

    http://www.thecultofpat.com/

But hey, if Joe’s got one now, I’m in! Uh-Oh, looks like the ‘cult brainwashing’ will continue…but hey, my brains are pretty dirty, so it’s all good!

    Dear Mr. Treft-

You remind me of Attila the Hun in that Ben Stiller movie “Night At The Museum”. I’d give you a hug if I could, man. Cleaning is in progress…God bless you.

Just to let you know- my personal experience with Joe has been that he is a loving person who tries to help others when he can (as he is trying to do here). My first thought was that it is really poor taste and bad timing on your part to send such a nasty note. A fearless and selfless man would “man up” and apologize…ah but then again, such a man would have never chosen this blog post to make such comments.

But as willfully offensive and mean spirited as it was, I know that the bad programming and negative memories of fear (fear of being taken advantage of?) are surfacing here for a reason. And it’s all because of Joe’s charitable and loving actions.

This is sort of like a spiritual plate tectonics to me. The positive energy plate (Joe taking action in a positive way) clashes and moves under the negative one forcing these things to the surface and causing destruction of negative memories and programming by cleaning -if only everyone would do Ho’oponopono. (Oh, no…now Joe is causing earthquakes too! lol…earthquake marketing, anyone? In true P.T. Barnum fashion, might we see Joe advertise a man-made earthquake to promote a future product? Who knows! Stay tuned!) 😀

This sort of spiritual upheaval and reforming is necessary for the planet (thank you again, Joe). This is the cycle of life. We all have a part to play. We are all responsible. Self I-dentity Ho’oponopono gives you us the power to harness our powers for good and change this reality. I hope more people look into this method and really devote themselves to trying to learn it and use it.

As Voltaire in Candide suggests- if we each tend our own “garden,” the entire world will be transformed.

    ALOHA

My comment was in no way directed toward the woman donating the kidney. What she’s doing is great!

I had simply read through all the past blog postings and found a common theme:
Click on this link to read a long and boring sales pitch that is about 8 pages long and then at the end click buy.

I am surprised that my comment was allowed.

Thanks to all the well thought out responses.

    Maybe I am wrong?
